a master architect and master merchant is complaining that other master architects are charging too much?

as a master architect if a fellow arch was overcharging and i was in the same business id be very happy.

a master architect is looking to buy harvies from another master architect?

why doesnt he make them himself?

lastly..he says he will be in contact when he has some money..maybe if he sold the harvies he makes a little dearer he might not be so poor.

prices will vary by server obviously. my server, eclipse is flooded with credits and every master arch on the server would buy you out completely at 10k a harvie.i sell them for 20k

I sell them for 39k and frequently sell out.

If you want to give them away at 15k, thats your business. I make no excuses for my prices (i.e. needings high quality material).. I charge what I charge because I sell out. When I stop selling out, I'll charge less.

Some of you guys have no frigin clue, or you just like working for free. Don't know which.

By raising the extraction rate on harvesters the profit from that harvester increases, I take my cut of that profit off the top, no excuses. An experimental harvester will still potentially bring the client more profit in a year than I will see selling 100+ of them, if you don't like my prices shop around I'm sure you can find someone giving stuff away. My group added @10k per additional extraction rate over the base cpu price and I haven't heard many complaints (except when the vendor is empty).

I sold 300 mediums at 30k a pop in 4 days. I should have sold them for 50k.

Server economies are in fact quite different. One can find most all resources on chilstra at or under 3cpu, good luck finding them under 5 cpu on tempest.

So on tempest, I charge 4-5cpu for items I make. If the items gets experiment bonueses, I generally tack on a %. People who want to low-ball and only charge/pay 'cost' for items forget additional costs of failures, travel, store maint, vendor maint (soon to go up), map advertising costs, store deocrations, furniture and signage and..... TIME. I know longer haggle at all. Don't like the price, sorry. I do try to give those who buy significantly from me an occassional present.

And to the guy who flamed the posters....get a life. I think you got it wrong and that he has at least two characters; a master arch and the other a budding doc. If he wants to post about what he feels to be indignant attitudes, let him have at it.

Supply and DEMAND is the only rule you should follow. If you don't, dont' bark at those who do.
