Thread: I hate my holo

I got architect for my holo as well (after getting weaponsmith mind you).

The way I look at it is this:

When I want to be fast (which of course I do, although I had great fun making plants and dropping them in the homes of people silly enough to have me on admin as housewarming gifts), I can grind out personal crafting stations for 945xp. Just need 450 of any metal and bam, you have 945xp in two little clicks on resources. Of course you need a good bit of whatever metal, but you get more bang for your buck in this manner.

I do that for speed, however, I AM making walls also. I alternate. I give the walls to our guild affiliate for him to make things for our guild. This way, I am helping out the guild who is, of course, supporting my resource needs. Master Archs are really busy with the new player city options and do not really want to be troubled with the walls they need for everything. They will often be more than happy to give YOU the resources if you do the legwork for them...this is 6000xp per wall (if you do all the blocks as well) of FREE xp. Walls are slower and take more resources but you are making something useful, that might just help you or your guild if you are in one and result in either free xp or some recouping (good for those who don't have a guild backing them).

This is one of the few crafting professions where you can make things people need right off the bat, as a novice (so unlike weaponsmith in particular, heck even as master I couldn't really make anything useful unless I wanted a serious time detour). Take advantage as you tear your way through the profession.

Even though I just went through a crafting profession and really didn't want to do another one, architect really is not a bad holo profession (in fact, I find I actually kinda like it and might want to pick it back up with all this craziness with my character's profession is over).

Who knew I'd be a dancing mason?
