yes when you clicked yes the skills menu shouldve came up, thats where you can change your skills aound to whetever you want depending on the skill points you have. you can do it manually but typing the command

/respec

if when you finish doing your skills and click ok if it says your not able to respec at this time just wait until 12 hrs after you clicked yes the first time......

if that respec was your token respec you cant respec again.

the msg box that asks you the question whether you want to respec or not tells you, you wont be able to respec again after that one. if the account your using you had before cu you should have like 2 or 3 weeks to dabble. think token is only for players that got game post-cu. umm basically log out and log back in if you get the window again then it wasnt your token if you dont get a window anymore then it was your token. you still wont be able to respec even if you get the window again until the 12 hrs has passed.

I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but I have been playing since June of '03 and I'm still grinding in the village. I took about 6 months off for RL stuff and came back and found the /respec option. I'm not entirely sure why I have it, but I was told that there is a way to use /respec as a Jedi at some medium level and I would be able to master one of the Jedi skills that way. Is this true and how might I figure this out? Keep in mind that I still have to get out of the village and grind out my trees. If anyone has some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

I know NO way to get jedi with respect... you need to grind out 6 trees it does not let you respect village boxes. dont waste your only respect!

Let me re-phrase, I'm not talking about repec-ing while in the village... I'm talking post-village, on my way through the padawan/knight/master levels. Thanks for the quick response though.

I wouldn't do it, honestly.. As you grind out those tier ones and twos, your CL will drop to hell in a handbasket, and if a bh comes during that time your pretty much screwed.. Also after you finally do respec, you will have all these new skills but not the experience to use them.. Half of the path of Jedi is learning to use what we have, through trial and error. Right after the respec period, the forums were on fire with "nerf this!- Nerf That!" posts, mostly from Jedi who just respeced expecting to be gods, and your time in the field using the skills pve will help prepare you for that.

Another reason not to waste the respec, Jedi skills are always getting changed, you never know when your templete might get axed next. Also when the Force Ranking System comes back, you may learn you need a entire new templete in order to advance... Just a few reasons to hold on to that respec.
