This is not my work so I can't take credit for it.

Make 2 sampling macros and place them on the toolbar but before doing so read on....

Macro1 will eventually sample and pause (long enough to regenerate your Action and Mind) then call Macro2.

Macro2 will eventually sample and pause (long enough to regenerate your Action and Mind) then call Macro1.

To callMacro2, at the end of Macro1 include: -

/ui action toolbarSlot** (where ** = toolbarSlot of Macro2).

To callMacro1, at the end of Macro2 include: -

/ui action toolbarSlot** (where ** = toolbarSlot of Macro1).

When the popups appear the macros will just ignore them and continue sampling. It won't close the popups down, but as you will beat your screen at all times watching this you will be able to manually close them. This isn't confirmed but it you move the popups without closing them, it won't popup more of the same type messages. I think there are 2 different messages so move both out of the way and no more will appear.

Using "/macro MyMacroName" at the end of a macro named MyMacroName does indeed produce an endless loop.

Use "/dump" at the keyboard to break the loop. This will allow you to manually interrupt the sequence.

I've you're using macros to grind out a task over and over and over, this is a workable, if not exactly elegant method.

yes you can. just like making a normal macro except your not putting the backslash unless your shouting or yelling. for example.

new macro.

/shoutI am teaching all artisan and entertainer skills. please send tell.

just add it to your top bar and click it when you want to shout.

Actualy it is much easyer than that whole /ui stuff. All Macros are simply commands that you wright yourself and can be placed on the hot bar. In essence you can just type /*macro name* to execute any macro. To loop said macro all you would do is include /*macro name* as the last line of that macro. Upon reaching that command line it would activate the macro named.

Example, lets say you wanted a macro to sit you down wait one minute and stand you up again and you wanted it to go on forever. Yeah I know, why would I do that? But this is a hypothetical. Let us further assume that you named said macro sitandstand. It would look just like this:

/sit
/pause 60
/stand
/pause 5
/sitandstand

You include the second pause command to allow the client to compete the /stand command.

This post ended up being a lot longer than I expected...........sorry about that. Hope this helps.

As much as I hate to encourage AFK macrotaining, I will help you out. Hereis a linkto posts on how to macro:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=entertainer&message.id=2440&highlight=how+to+macro+repeat#M2440

Now, here is a list of my top advice to all the newbies who have entertained with me.

1. Don't go AFK--most people will never tip an AFK macrotainer, and the performance quality is lessened.

2. Don't rely solely on macros when you entertain--sometimes you just have to go with the mood.

3. Greet everyone who comes through your door--people love the interaction

4. Take requests--it makes the experience much more personal

5. Take time to listen to others--sometimes we experienced people actually do have good advice

6. Don't beg for tips--it is rude and ruins the whole experience

7. When you ask for heals, make sure it is a request, not a demand

8. If you must go AFK, put yourself off in a corner so the live entertainment is what people see first (you still get the xp)

9. Never use /bandflourish in a macro.

10. NEVER use /bandflourish in a macro.

11.Always follow Roa's Rules

ROA'S RULES

1. Never ignore a call for help

2. Take only from those who are richer than yourself

3. Don't play Sabacc unless you're prepared to lose

4. Don't pilot a ship under the influence

5. Always be prepared to make a quick getaway

I hope this helps you! Maybe I'll see you around, I'm on Bria. You can find me at the Drunken Tusken Cantina in Mos Elsewhere, Tatooine. I am there almost every evening. I would be happy to entertain with you and help boost your xp.
