The absolute maximum is 45.0 but that was only possible with experimentation from 'temporary Tuesday' when experimentation rules changed for one day only.
Nowadays I would imagine that the maximum is closer to around 44.0 neighborhood.
I max at +43.65 right now myself and most of my materials are very close to maximum stats.

Well Pawlin means max for the Kettemoor server. My max on Kettemoor is 43.94. I believe some people on Kettemoor have 44s, butnot quite sure how.

I think that the max for all servers is not too far above 44. That would be without using any old schematics that were from crafting day or from before DSC's changed to 50% OQ / 50% cond.
Your 43.9 is using an old DSC schematic isn't it? I don't think you can get 44 on Kettemoor with current experimentation rules, given the resources we've had.

Since I no longer make crafting stations (having dropped Master Artisan), I never bothered to follow what was going on with the DSC changes.
I used to get quite close to 44 on my stations, using the "old" DSC's.
I still have about 4 cratesof the old types in storage, which had come out to 99% experimentation on them. Is that no longer very likely to happen on DSC's?

It would require a metal with OQ and Conductivity both in the 990 level. Which is pretty rare. Only Bria, Chilastra, Eclipse, Shadowfire havehad a metal in that range. So thats only 4/25 servers. The other key thing holding back station ratings is the cap on conductivity for steel used in the OQ / cond MSS parts.
Bria 980/601,
But given the average stats of resources that we're likely to see on servers and particularly the conductivity of steel limiting things I think that around 44.0-44.1 is likely to be maximums we'll see.
For example I searched SWGcraft.com for Ahazi as an example to find the maximum resource stats that have been available and this is what Ahazi has had according to SWGcraft.:
OQ 100%
metal 1000
gas 998
ore 999
steel 996
copper 989
polymer 999
metal 1000
gas 998
ore 999
steel 996
copper 989
polymer 999
cond 100%
metal 997
metal 997
OQ 50% / cond 50%
steel 991 /649
metal 966 / 972
steel 991 /649
metal 966 / 972
Those are pretty good resources. If you put those resources into the Crafting Assistant calculator and adjust for DSC's being OQ50% / Cond 50% then it comes out with a crafting station rating of 43.87. So 43.87 is the current maximum for Ahazi.
The only room for much improvement above is in the 100% OQ copper and the OQ 50% / cond 50% metal. If Ahazi had 1000 OQ copper and 995 OQ / 995 Cond metal then the max rating would be 44.11.
If you were to have OQ 1000 for all materials, a Cond 1000 copper, a metal with OQ 1000/ Cond 990 and a steel with OQ 991 / 649 then you get a station with rating of 44.31.
So I think the absolute maximum is going to be in the 44.3 range across all servers if using current experimentation with maximum stat resources.. THe maximum over most servers is likely to be in the 44.0 - 44.1 range.
Course this may change shortly with the new JTL steels that appear to have had the conductivity cap removed.

According to Crafting Assistant,for Kettemoor the maximum station rating if using current experimentation rules and best resources is currently: +43.809932*
* I think there is some round off error in this. Using my resources Crafting Assistant says I should get 43.739 but I only hit 43.65. Personally I'm using everything below but instead I've only got the Isvowe OQ 988 for copper and Quadatevsis 988/571 for all steel used.
Maximum stat resources listed on SWGcraft.com for Kettemoor are the following resources:
OQ 100%
metal Eces iron 1000
gas Durageneohoide 990
ore Diisowygaate 999
steel Ditoci 995
copper Ditethrahemanansis 996
polymer Iose 993
metal Eces iron 1000
gas Durageneohoide 990
ore Diisowygaate 999
steel Ditoci 995
copper Ditethrahemanansis 996
polymer Iose 993
cond 100%
metal = hobe 999
metal = hobe 999
OQ 50% / cond 50%
steel = skisref 974/611
steel = skisref 974/611
metal= Aloiam copper 980 / 969
Of course this can change at any time if we get some better resources.

Hmm, I'm getting a maximum of 43.73 for Ahazi... Not that it matters, but still
Oh and because of the Conductivity cap of 650 on steel, the highest theoretical efficiency could be 44.385.

I get 43.38 as my max on Chimaera but I've seen43.47 recently and also some temp tuesday ones, which annoy be tbh as I wasnt a crafter on temp tuesday *sniffle*
What I use for my 43.38 stations is:
Control Units/Electronic GP Modules/Energy Distributors OQ experimented to 99%
Metal: Ahefina Steel OQ: 1000
Polymer: Icedoh OQ: 996
Ore: Peafie OQ: 1000
Copper: Quadian OQ: 978
Inert Gas: Orivi OQ: 999
Micro Sensor Suites OQ+Con experimented to 90%
Steel: Caipav OQ: 959 Con: 603
Metal: Quadian Copper OQ: 978 Con: 932
Ore: Peafie OQ: 1000
Inert Gas: Orivi OQ: 999
Droid Storage Modules OQ+Con experimented to 95%
Copper: Quadian OQ: 978 Con: 932
Final Combine Con experimented to 99%
Copper: Durneopanacsis Con: 998
Mineral: Any ore without Con
I can improve these by using another copper on the parts that just require OQ, theres one around with 985OQ , other than that, I think I use the best resources available.

Sounds right on both counts.

The 43.87 for Ahazi that I quoted was from the Crafting Assistant and I think there is some round off error where it overestimates the final station result by a little bit. The actual calculations in the game must truncate some numbers or round down at a significant digit or something. Least thats my guess.

Up till now, it was 43.718198. BUT! We just had 808 OQ 998 CONDUCTIVITY STEEL hit last night on Tempest. Unreal!
Update later.

I'm getting 42.77 on Bloodfin. Droid Engineers are making 92% DSC's at the momenton BF so I went shopping and found a better copper with OQ=980 and CD=916 which should bring the DSC's up and I'm guessing I'll be in the mid 43's after that. I should know tonight sometime.
