Thread: What do you sell large houses for?

Would like to know what the average price is since I want to buy a large generic house. And I don't want to be tricked =)

i charge 200k for large houses and thats around 5cpu which is totally reasonable and they sell well.
under that its not worth my time
PS: pawlin its kinda sad that u even motivate new architects for such low crap prices, only cause some think thats a good price.
hakk, pls notice that every other crafting profession got no item for such low price like 5cpu at all, only architects but if u sell for 3 or even lower better change profession.

I did NOT say "hey novices you should all charge 3 cpu". I did NOT say "3 cpu is a good price".
I just said that at 3 cpu it equates to 112k.

I sell large houses for 140k apiece. I could probably ask for more, but that covers my costs, with a decent profit margin.
Especially when they turn around and order enough furniture to fill said house. 
'Course, that's on Tarquinas server.

Pawlin is alway telling people to do research on there server or go to the trade fourms and ask around. I have never ever seen him try to infuience priceing in anyway. He always offers a good stratigy to be competive with every other arch on your piticular server. Ive been gone a few months from the fourms here yes but i dont see him changing his carecter that much in so little time.
Pawlin your a A+ help in my book and a great guy. You and i disagree on alot of issues but you always explain your point of view and rarly flame. Your a credit to this comunity.

Prices vary a lot from server to server. I dunno what the average is on your server.
You might try posting a WTB ad in your galaxy forum or you can just visit a few of the architect vendors outside Coronet.
Bear in mind that large houses take around 37k of materials to make so at just 3 cpu you're looking at something around 112k.

I'm a Master Architect on Chimaera, and I sell my large houses for 95k. I've seen them as low as 60k (that person was just mad!), and as high as 180k, but never 200k. Not on Chimaera, anyways. But as they've said already, it does vary from server to server.

I sell 1-2 large houses a week at 200K each. I keep 1-2 large naboo and 1-2 large generic on my vendor at all times, so if someone stops by and wants one - there it is - no waiting, no wondering if the "cheaper guy down the road" has them in stock, etc.
