All of mine on Scylla have also reverted to pre-patch specs except for the 2 I have currently deployed.

This is no joke, right? I have not logged on yet today so I have not been able to check the two that I had experimented on. If theyhave reverted on KettemoorI would expect that there will be a bunch of angry customers demanding partial or complete refunds on the Heavies that they had just purchased.

Are you talking about things made on Thursday, the day of the patch? Friday's hotfix caused all deeds made on thursday to revert to stadrad extraction rates, although they could keep their expanded hoppers still.

Has anyone seen anything MADE AFTER Friday's hotfix revert to standard?

I deployed all of mine today, all my mediums are at 7 and my heavies are at 10.

Holo said that experimentation was in on purpose and to stay. I personally think this is true, and people are just trying to scare potential customers!! And any architect that says experimentation on harvestors is bad is not an architect and doesnt know what he is talking about, its the best thing that happened to our trade.

Short term it is great, but it will also speed the total saturation of our products. Without decay this will speed the end of Architect as a business.

It will be able to continue as a class, but not as a business.

I'm not trying to scare anyone. All of my heavy harvesters have 100K hoppers and spec rates of 7. these were all deeded in a backpack. The only ones not affected were 1 heavy mineral that is spec rate 7 hopper 15.3K (kind of wish that one had changed) and a fusion ion that is spec rate 19 and hopper 408K/ These 2 were actually deployed and not deeded.

That's your opinion. As an architech and a miner I totally disagree with you and this is not the best thing that happened to Architech. It changes none of the core problems with the profession. It just delays the inevitable by another few weeks, nothing more.

As if this release wasn't bugged enough, I'm getting reports of experimented harvesters spontaneously reverting to the default rate of '7' on Gorath, even after they're deployed.

This is just unbelievable. I have NEVER in my life run into such a bug-ridden useless poorly tested poorly deployed piece-of-crap software in my life.

Is there a SINGLE thing they did with harvesters that worked? Is there a SINGLE thing they did that they didn't mess up????

Its one thing to have a few bugs. I'm tolerant. I'm REALLY intolerant when the bug-rate is essentially 100%. It indicates profound incompetence at every level in the organization and I am completely disgusted.

You can't say this was unexpected. An increase in the amount of resources being generated is not what this game needs. What I can't stand is that they didn't get the word out immediately:

"Increases in extraction rates is a bug and will be reversed ASAP."

Doesn't need to be much, just a heads up not to invest too much time making new experimented harvesters. Communication, communication, communication.

I only hope they revert them back to 7 , at those rates the demise of the Architect profesion would have been sped up buy several months. Without decay, faster and cheaper resources is the very last thing we need.

I'm not sure if this helps, but a Heavy miner built today is stuck rock solid at 7kg/h...

Is there a website somewhere that lists standard and/or experimented extraction rates you can expect for various harvesters/harvester sizes?

I keep seeing people say "Holo said..." Everything I've seen Holo say recently has been prefaced by "I believe" or "I'll have to check but...". Folks, Holo isn't involved in the day-to-day running of SWG anymore, he's more involved in his new duties helping to run SOE as a whole now. Q-3PO said that the extraction rate experimentation was not intended, and given that he is involved in the day-to-day running of SWG, I'd give more weight to his statements. Hopefully our new assistant community rep can clarify things soon, but don't count on keeping the new extraction rates. I believe the phrase "increased extraction would totally wreck the economy" was the one uttered by Q-3PO.
