Thanks _-Archangel-_ once more especially for that impressively fast response to this issue (Great job). I will spread the word to Starsider momentarily. I am so relieved that this radical nerf is no longer being considered.

Any word on when we will get our other 45% of experimentation bonus as Masters?

Great timing. I think there was about to be a blood fest on the TC boards over this. hehe

You really worked hard to get this info out quickly. Major props to a fellow bloodfin player. And hey, now they can go back to what they do best on the Bloodfin boards, bash Enott.

Thanks for he fast response.

Please be sure to point out that we need our max experimentation points to be increased from 55 up to 100, also...

I think it would be great if they would also allow a small bit of expereimentation on the extraction rate.

Yes I would also like to see our experimentation points upped to meet those of other crafting masters. If we are going to be allowed to experiment on things now, it would be nice to be able to do more than a 5-point job.

This is really good news. My thanks to the dev team.

The reason issues like this generate a lot of noise is because there is no way for players to tell whether the devs are aware of the issue and whether they consider it a bug or an intentional nerf. And so we make a lot of noise in the hope that 1) the devs will become aware of the issue; 2) if its a bug they will understand its seriousness; and 3) if its an intentional nerf, they will perhaps reconsider.

This is an imperfect means of communication but, under the circumstances, it may not be too bad.

I could have told you guys that. Everyone goes crazy over stuff on TC. You should see half the stuff that never makes it to live.

IMO, no one should moan about something on TC especialy when they don't even contribute there. Which more than half the moaners don't.

Stealth nerf. Bah. It's not a nerf until it hit's live. Until then, TEST in TEST CENTER, means just that.

So before anyone cry's stealth nerf again over something on TC, I hope they also state if they even contribute there or not and have a clue what's really going on.

Hopefully, the *next* time something happens folks will remember this and exercise a little restraint before posting all the "I quit!!" stuff.

Discussion is fun, extortion is tedious.

Whatever the hopper sizes end up being, I'm just pleased that experimentation will actually function to add value to a structure.

I agree.

I mean let's be honest, if minimum hopper capacity is going to remain where it is right now, Architects will be able to continue cranking out unexperimented products from crud resources with no significant negative reaction from the consumers.

Therefore the possible value-added from capacity expansion is likely to be disappointing, with respect to Architect reputation and pride-of-craftsmanship.

Ability to enhance extraction rate, however, would be awesome. Because the consumer is going to instintively want the best rate possible and having a good rate is going to propel the desire for greater capacity at the same time.

So in the total picture, if hopper minimum capacity stays as is then extraction performance will do double work in making it possible to attain exceptional structures and the reputation and satisfaction that goes along with that.

I know I don't keep up with gaming news very much but I had no idea Brandon (GreenMarine) went to work for SOE.
