Hey, all. I have a question...how's business for all you other DEs? I havne't sold a droid in 4 days and have shops on two planets. I can't even sell a seeker droid. My prices are low and my stuff is good. Just wondering if any of you have seen a drop in business. If not, what in h-e-double hockeysticks planet are you on?! LOL

Naboo, Ahazi.
Sales are picking up again. It is very cyclical, though, so your server may just be in a down cycle.
I set new sales records (for me) over the weekend. Had my first 300k day! Keeping up with Seekers and Arakyds is getting difficult as my new BH vendor becomes more famous, so I might have to raise my prices a bit to slow down demand. But for now, at least, I'm loving it.

comes and goes in waves. Sunday's seem to be my best days.
I would suggest asking your guildmates check your vendor periodically...i still have a lingering feeling that the vendors break or are down for periods of time.

My droid sales tend to be rather cyclical as well. Just keep your vendor stocked and be patient. Go out and do a Themepark while you're waiting for sales. I don't even advertise and I get a sale every once and a while. Also, getting out of the shop and showing yourself as a non-holo DE and giving your shop waypoint out spreads it around.

My business really picked up after the publish (6 BLL's in two days on top of quite a few other orders is nice), not its steadying out a bit but its definately on a high note. I have seen a cyclical pattern, but its been a slow one, around one to two month revolutions for me.

My droid business is doing fine. Recently I switched to an unconventional business model. I liquidated my full droid shop and now just have a basic vendor for commodities, pickups, and dropoffs. I carry the most common droid materials with me so I can craft orders on the fly. I get many /tells and emails for orders, so I figured that instead of constantly doing factory runs to keep a vendor stocked, I would build orders on demand, on the spot. This of course requires a certain amount of preparation (e.g. making droid chassis crates), but it also frees up my merchant skills for use in other areas.

Quite nice...
I got a sweet little macro running:
Selling droid chassis that you can place as furniture!
/pause 5
Special offer! Want R2-D2 and C3PO in your house? I'll make you a set for [price here], normal price is [price here] seperately.
That seems to work for me.
Also, I got a backpack full of resources and crates with me all the time, so I can make any droid on the fly. I seem to be making and selling 4 times more droids than I sell off my vendor.
So all in all, the sales are quite good.

Eutock, thats similar to how my business runs. Only thing I've been doing though is not running the chassis through factories. Its easier on the inventory to cary around a crate of each subpart than it is to carry around multiple crates of each chassis, and time required to make the chassis is fairly negligable.

I used to do that Eutock for several months...then people started asking me if I had a vendor. Oh well, I guess it goes in cycles.

Well, the droid sales are kinda low right now. I've only been selling crafting R5's and MSE's for a while. But that might be cause I've stocked my vendor with DSC's and VCK's. And those sales are going moderate, the first weekend I sold kinda much but now it's slowing down.
