Hiya folks.

Just thought I'd post my experiences from last night, I have been 'offline' for about two weeks and I knew this was coming, but hey.

Last night I spent 3 hours, yes, count them, 3 hours! Relisting over 800 items in my shop from the stockroom. Now, the plus side of this is that I get to have a nicely stocked shop! The downside is that in 27 days I know that probably 500 of those items will need to be relisted again at the same time! This is the most time consuming thing in my profession and I'm sure it affects most crafters out there who like to have as varied and full a shop as possible!

I have noticed that every item 'remembers' how much you had listed it for, just double click on an item in the storeroom and it will show you how much it was listed for. It sapped my will to craft extra stock afterwards so although Inow have 400 items of furniture and 350 items of lighting on my vendors I only have a few factories and houses as I really couldn't be bothered to craft items after relisting everything, and my harvesters will have to wait another day to be emptied as my will to play has drained away!

And now. Something revolutionary! (well, not really but you know!)

Would it be too much to ask for a simple "Auto Relist" button? So that everything displayed in your current stockroomwindowwould be relisted at the same price to savedoing every single item relist manually? Seeing as each item remembers where it was and at what price it wouldn't be too much of a leap would it?

I know I know, perhaps I should only make things that sell, but dammit I never know if someone's going to drop in my shop that wants kitchen chairs, orlights that aren't 'switched on' so I like to stay as stocked as I possibly can!

I'm sure this has been brought up before. But perhaps if everyone feels this way someone somewhere might take notice, though I seriously doubt it! I would prefer to spend my time crafting than standing in my shop clicking windows trying to relist things!!!

Dunno if to ask for a simple /sign here but any other contributions will be read and thought about!

Crafters need some love too!

Or better yet let master merchants have un-timed auctions. I'd vote for that.

I assume that this is a big item for all of us since most of us are merchants. I'd really love to have it myself.

I will support Elyssa on getting this for the merchant prof.

Couldn't agree more. My alt was a crafter and one of the reasons he was eventually deleted was that I'd spend as much time updating as I did creating. And that got really really boring after a month or three.

I agree, too much time lost relisting. It needs to be "fixed" somehow.

Agree.

Too much time required, too easy to make mistakes.

For those who say that items should not stick around for that long (and I'm sure very few readers in this forum will be addressed), I got some words for you. Two days ago I sold out my entire stock of deep crust chemical extractors because of the best spawn of armorsmith-friendly polymer since CU. The wealthy armorsmiths all put out multi-million unit orders, thereby triggering the Great Polymer Rush of Wanderhome. Within 24 hours my entire stock was sold out. Most ofthe individual deedshad been relisted several times. If I had kept the materials around waiting to build them until they were likely to sell within a month, most of themwould not have been built, because my normal monthly sales of heavy chems are a fraction of what I sold in one day. Isuspect thatif I had had more in stock, or another schematic ready to go, I would have been able to sell several times as many as I did.

Saego, Wanderhome.
