Thread: I need some Architect advice...
Are you craping out a living on Architect? Do you have more than enough money to let this guy go his merry way?
The answers to these questions will answer your question i think.
That's your problem i think....going around trying to sell it. Just move on. Eventually someone will come along yelling to buy that exact same deed (i know you have to be on the planet usually that house could go on) but it will eventually happen. There is a good chance that you will have to pass by a few more people that will not pay your price but eventually there will be. The time spent trying to sell that one deed you could have been making more money some other way.
I also discount pricing depending on courtesy. Maybe not the 40k difference but enough to make them think about it.
If you have a vendor, stick it in there. I have a vendor and make stuff all the time. Big stuff. I dont ever carry around deeds and now at the point where I dont take special orders because its normally in my vendor. They ask me if I have something and how much it costs, I tell them its in my vendor and if they want it, they will buy it. I dont even barter anymore, those days are over for me. If they dont want it for the price that I have it for, they go else where. Let me tell ya, 9/10 times, they will buy it. Stick to your guns, the stuff will sell as long as your not to"out there"with your prices....

I dont think any architect should make corellian houses period. The generics are exactly the same and can be moved from planet to planet. Why stick someone with a house that looks, has exact floorplan but is stuck on one vs many planets? Take the 120k be happy you got it, quit making corellian.

I say the 120k is a fair price and I would take it in a heartbeat ![]()
No use in tying up your resources like that when you could take that 120k and feed your harvesters for a bit and make more stuff.
You don't make money turning away customers and they DO remember who worked with them when it comes time to buy other stuff later like harvesters and such.
I have done more repeat business because everyone says my prices are fair. I can't keep up and I am more than makign a nice profit.
Take the 120k and move on.
Just my opinion.
I do agree with above though. Set your price and stick with it. Don't go overboard on your prices though.
I have a set price. It's very simple andpeople tell me it's fair and I make a lot of profit still. I charge 3CPU no matter what it is. I will even take resources in trade, mainly ore. By me being flexible like that, I have got repeat business and recommendations.
120k is just about what larges go for on Tarquinas. I say take it and run! =)
