Thread: 3cpu
uhh...how did architects get stuck with 3 cpu? who decided on that and who was the tard that buckled in and agreed on it? X.x

i dotn want to sell that low and mostly charge 4cr per unit, but economy is borked to many idiots who like to wrk more for less win.
thats why most are forced to reduce prices sadly. we work for lessest win of all crafters per unit
that is a fact and nobody can even try to tell different, all other crafters have better rates per unit.
I adjusted to the market. It's what people will pay, especially on the heavy harvesters. I have charged more and I have charged a LITTLE less depending on the situation and whatnot. 3CPU is what came to be the middle that everyone was happy about paying. So basically, the market/players decided it.
I'm happy with 3CPU. I can make a profit and my customers don't feel cheated. Both sides win.
Yea, I know weaponsmiths were millionaires long ago but they basically ripped people off. The players didn't have much choice though.
Eclipse does not equal 3cpu
I just wish it was 3cpu if you buy of the bazaar... but in the last week the cost of materials at the bazaar rose to approx 7cpu on eclipse. simply amazing Maybe i should just go back to being a miner and sell the stuff (fortunately i normally mine my own stuff ) unfortunately - i ran out aluminum just as i got an order for 10 heavys.... that hurt.
never going to allow that again.
Products only sell for 3cr per if you sell them for that low, and everyone who does it is to blame. I sell for 5cr per,and don't have a problem. Anytime someone reacts in shock at my price, I tell them to find a cheaper architect then come back to me when they find out they have to wait 2 weeks to get the product because they can't afford to maintain enough harvesters since they undercut themselves.
If you sell for 3cr per and have a problem with it, there's noone else but you to blame. Sell for 5cr, refuse to sell to anyone who doesn't like it. You'll find enough customers that are reasonable and educated enough to realize it's not an unfair price.
The fact is, people are getting further along in professions and learning the game better. They're moving on to high end encounters, like 25k missions on Endor, and have more money to spend now, so less and less of them are bulking at 5cr prices. They're only going to buy from you at 3cr because you offer to sell it that low.

I sell anywhere from 4.5 to 7 credits per unit. If someone finds my prices too high, oh well. I have no problems selling things.
I have a suspicion that these 2-3 cpu people would fail if they opened a business in real life. The cost of doing business (energy cost, harvester cost and factory cost) does not support that low of a price. If they want to run missions in order to support there Architecture sales, more power to them. I became an Architect so that I wouldn't have to run missions and it has worked thus far.
yea...I totally agree on higher prices...but people now believe we have to sell things at 3 cpu, and that anything higher (even for master items...like a PA hall) is insane -.-
