Since you need 1000 structure modules to do a factory run of 100 walls, is it impossible to do a factory run of more than 100 walls? Is there a way to make two schematics with the same serial, soI could make 200 walls? Thank you in advance,

I make runs of 1000 walls all the time, never bother with less unless I dont have big enough stacks of ore and metal, I cannot remember the last time I made less than 800. This can be done because the structural modules do NOT have to be the same. So, make 1000 structural modules on one schematic and 1000 on a differenet schematic, you can even use different ore and metal in the first schematic from what you use in the second. If you find a few structural modules lying around then throw them in as well. Factory run, hand made, made with different resources, it does not matter, buy some structural modules from somebody else, that will do as well. Then throw them in with your ore and metal needed for the number of walls you want to make and sit back until they are ready.
As I say I usually run 1000 at a time, often I do not have all the structural modules ready, so I make a schematic for 1000 walls still, make sure I put in enough ore and metal to make all 1000 and then run the factory with however many structural modules I have available, usually while other factories are making structurals. These I throw in on the same wall schematic when they are ready and keep going until it is used up.
So, 200 is no problem, but if you have enough of the same ore and metal, why not just make that schematic for 1000 walls, if you run out of the particular ore and metal before you complete the full run then just throw the schematic away, it didn't cost you more than 10 structurals, 300 units of metal and 200 units of ore to make anyway. Hope that explains it.

Nope. Each time you make a schematic it puts a serial number in there that is unique.
Since the serial number on walls NEVER matters, why do you care? By that I mean, load up the 2000 structure modules, load in schematic #1, let it rip. When it finishes, load up schematic #2, and let it rip.
Sorry Zen, I think my way is better

No problem at all. I make lots of mistakes each day - no point in denying it.

I actually prefer my current state of business. I have some customers that come back to me for harvesters, factories, furniture, etc... but I would have to dedicate a lot more time in order to expand the top level. I also harvest several materials, for an armorsmith, which is probably why I'm so hesitant. I don't have the lots to keep a mobile fleet and have enough factories to compare to what my armorsmith partner has going.
I want to have fun enjoying the game in other ways, not be constantly running from one harvester to another, running schematics, or stuffing 100 houses up for sale.
Right now, I'm comfortable running a couple hundred walls through the factory, being annoyed at how many Generator turbines I have, and keeping only 3-5 Ber 13's of any specific type on the vendor.

You know, it always helped me to *grow* by having a bank of walls. Almost everything else is minor compared to walls. Their structure is truly the foundation of our profession.
This is also why I'm somewhat vehemently against statues giving ANY xp. Have an architect build 400 walls by hand that he/she mustSELLand nothing else will ever come close to appreciation of attaining Master Architect.
