Thread: Tech console update!

The simple tech consoles now have all sors of pretty displays and buttons, access panels underneath... It's a pity I don't have any schems on hand, the last bath I went through I named either "Technical Console - advanced" or "Technical Consal - simple", and the simple ones no longer are....
I may need to bump up the price of those a couple grand.

well spotted now maybe my factory crates I have had of the "simple" type might just start shifting lol

Just wondering...how much do you all charge for technical consoles? And also, it won't give me the option to makea schematic for them. Did I hear you wrong or can you make them in factories?

I was one of the lucky ones that made factory runs on all the available loot schematics before they patched so they couldn't be run off in factories

Oh....that is too bad I didn't get a chance to do that. I wish I could make a bunch.

when they first came out was selling them at 25k each(yes 25k) basically the sales of those sold in the first few weeks has paid for our player city until now and for the next 6 months lol
but now I just restock my loot furniture vendor once a week leaving them on at 5k a pop but depends on demand on your server but would imagine everyone that wants one of these would have them by now as they are a fair few months old and with these type of items the longer they drop the less value they attain

I have them listed at 8k for the simple, 11k for the ones with the fancy displays, and sold out of the latter a while ago. I need to get off my ass and check the bazaar search and make sure my prices are still in line with the rest of the planet...

Just in case anyone does not already know it, vendor & bazaar search lists two "technical console" types. The last time I looked, the topmost in the list was the fancy display style. This will let you know ahead of time what you're getting, if you intend to buy a bunch. What I do to check is to buy one from what I think is the group I want, then learn it. If it turns out OK, then I'll buy a bunch from that group, otherwise I'll buy from the other group.

I seem to not be able to find the tech console (either one) in the list of things to craft in my furniture crafting tool. I learned the schmatic before the CU and I see it in my schem's in my data pad. I have also made a few of them before.
I attempted to learn it again but it says that I already know it.
Has anyone learneda schem before the CU and has not been able to craft it?
I also want to make sure that the name is correct... is it Data Terminal or Tech Console? I have looked at every one in the list on the tool but I am just writing this message before for I /bug it.

Jon,
Make sure you are near a private crafting station. If you are not near one, it will not show up in your list of schematics when you start the crafting tool. When you are near one, start the crafting tool. You will see it listed under the Furniture items in alphabetical order as "Technical Console".
