What's the Highest % of low grade ore you have seen?

I havnt looked much yet but i dont seem to find anything above 63%

64%....on average i would say 58-59...thats a good pool though....many are down in the 40s unless you walk miles and miles...

est I ever found was 69.. it was in week one.

i see the same problems, but you will get the 1 or 2 people in here that claim theres 80+ deposits and they will say with an attitude that you just have to find it and they have no problems finding it.

But really, i have yet to see a percentage of ore higher than 64%. I think this is terribly unbalancing considering that everything directly relating to the architech class seems like its just another obstacle to overcome. (more exp than any other crafter class, more resources used than any other crafting class, more ore needed than any other class and yet we cant find high concentrations of it like you can steel and copper and aluminum)

Ive also noticed this for solar and wind deposits as well. havent seen higher than a 60% on them either.

After the last shift on bloodfin I found a 60% on Rori, and set up 5 harvesters there, then set about searching the rest of the planet fora better one... 2 days later I found a 76% and moved as many harvestersI could fit in the area heh...nowI havetons of low grade ( and low quality but who cares houses dont deteriorate anyway) ore. Have so much that ive been selling some on the bazaar for cheap. Mail me in game if you want the location on bloodfin/Rori, but dont think there is much room left for a 70's spot. Tomorrow I plan on taking down 2 of my medium harvesters there in case anyone wants the spots.

In the first two weeks of July I had two runs in a row of placing harvesters on Carb ore veins around 80%. I just thought that was normal. I saw other non-carb veins of nearly the same quality while surveying. Then, post nerf, I've not found anything above 60. I'm currently mining a 51% veind of silicastic and have one harvester on a feeble vein of carbonite just to be able to make some generators.

I had a 49% until I found a 81% spot, it was like 4 weeks ago and only had spot for a week until resource shift. Now the best I can find is 61%, but I have only looked on naboo.

Best you can hope for is a 50-60% spot. If you find anything in the 70s thank god, if you find anything above 80s put all your frelling harvester on there and rake it in, and also tell me where the spot is (if on lowca server)

Highest Solar-->69%

But anything over 61% concentratin of ore is good, IMO..the 74% was like Christmas, Birthday and Halloween all rolled into one.

i'm on 66% now which is the best i've found since the first couple of days the servers have been up.

I am currently mining a 74% site of low grade ore. In the Kauri Galaxy

73% for carb ore a couple of weeks ago on Naboo. I am on a 63% now. Frankly, I conside anything over 60% on ore a good find. I should start logging % seen on veins as well as dates of resources. I notice that some seem to have better conentrations in areas of Naboo.

I have found a spot before of 86% carb ore in mountains on Corellia - but was only room to place 2 personal harvs, next best flat spot was down in 40s.

I generally can find mid-60s ore spots but you have to run around alot, last week I was on 70% ore spot which was very nice and only 14 min run from Coronet.

I generally will place when I find a spot that is flat enough for 10 heavies in resonable distance from each other and is 60%+

I do agree that a general "low grade ore" should be 10X easier to find than a specific steel, copper, aluminum etc. As it is I can find 90%+ spots of most metals far easier than I can find any ore over 60%
