great, all the house names in our city revert to "sign" and impossible to add color in name now...

thats a great improvement ! return to all white names....

Yeah, it completely bites... It's not as tho it was taking extra data... the color code still counted against the character limit.

But ya gotta love how the devs "fix" the stuff that ain't broken, but completely ignore a class that is broken.

Any idea if they also took the color out of item names?

I liked having control of the color of the sign on my house, but I foundwith items on the bazaar it made things difficult for searching as the color code preceded the name.

And the names you can use are MUCH more restrictive. I spent 5 minutes playing around with names this morning... I couldn't even name my home "bonesbro's Architecture".

I think this is in direct relation to the merchant class getting the ability to put up different signs. IN fact... I would be a 1mil creds on it.

I just wish they'd take color out of the chat stuff. I actually use colors to highlight certain words or phrases and to distinguish group, shout, and other channels. The chat screens are filled with ridiculously colored shouts designed to be more obnoxious than the others. Can you imagine how it's going to look when the other 85% of the folks figure out how to technicolor spam?

The house colored sign was harmless. The colored item names are a bit annoying when browsing the bazaar. The colored chat has got to go. Either that or give me an option to ignore any chat message containing a color change!

Colored item names on the bazaar totally cheapen the whole point of the premium auction when selling items on the bazaar for the extra cost. What's the point when SchlepJohnny can color his items?

I totally hope they nerf that in the next patch.

Colored text is a socially-self-correcting thing -- they still allow color codes in AO, for example. Anyone who gets too carried away there finds that plenty of people will "suggest" they tone it down.

Is color coding really gone though? My house sign was still color-coded yesterday...

Not only can you not add color, but now I can not rename my home from Sign.. im pretty pissed off right now.

Obviously our complaints in the Proffesion's forum aren't helping out at all if they don't care about us to begin with... Why are we not complaining in the GD? I say we all make one large post or many many small posts that direct their attention to our issue. This is by far the last place they would look, or at least we are left with that image.

Well, as a master merchant, I didn't keep my colors. And I couldn't keep the building name. And the additional 4 sign types don't show up, due perhaps to my house type (Naboo large) or location.

My old building name? "Lens Larque's Smuggler Shanty." My new one? "Lens Larque's Smuggler Shack." Evidently the word "shanty" has made it onto the forbidden list. Shanty!?
