Thread: Factory Wall Modules

I figured if I'm going to make crated wall modules I should at least make the max i can in one run so I gathered 200,200 Ore and 50,050 Metal and made a 1000 unit structural module schematic. Plugged the schematic into my factory and let it run for around 24 hours. I had 10 100 unit strucural module craftes. I was thinking after the pulling from crates for power cores were fixed that surley they fixed pulling from crates for wall modules. Well needless ot say i was WRONG. So I'm sitting here manually feeding 1000 structure modules to create 100 wall modules.

It trully sucks to be me.

On the bright side, wall modules are crated in units of 10 so at least my inventory space will not grow like mad likewhen I made the 100 crated power cores.

I just keep telling myself "it will get better".

actually crate of walls are of 9 walls since hopper holds 100 but ore/metal requires 2.

You do know that you can manaully feed a factory while its running right? Every time a wall is created i feed in another 10 structural modules.

It truely sucks, especially since that was supposed to be fixed in the patch.

we need to keep this thread (or one like it) at the top.

it'sridiculous to have to spoon-feed bricks into the factory. i've halted all of my production until this gets fixed. there are other things to do in the game that are actually fun

I also am quite upset about the whole, "We have fixed the factories to where they retrieve items from crates" I really hate having to load in 90 struc mods each time i have to make a wall. And walls tend to be the most thing i critical fail on when i manually craft them. I have a factory to make stuff i don't want to make.

I remember doing all the struc mods manually and that really sucked, and having to extract the mods from crates and feed them in suck almost as bad. Not to mention, I can no longer double click on the crate to get an item, i have to hold down and press 2. Anyone else upset about that or having that prob?? if so, is there a way I can make a quick key to get an item from a crate?

All in all, they didn't fix the factories and they messed up the crates.

ROFLMAO hey fella's you guys arent alone, if u can submit a ticket , yeah i was extremly mad when it didnt work in my factory, after they said it was fixed, and not even that i was looking forward to having a easier job on making walls. This truley sux, its about time dev's fixed that bug.

well, it does suck having to load the strut mods manually but...1. I keep the ingredient window open and dump some in as it's running. As long as you leave the crates in the hopper each one will hit 10 walls so you don't have to have 9 walls per crate. 2. It's not so bad...I just stand next to my factory and switch out of SWG to read the forums while I'm waiting...like now! Lol

heh waste of time manually feeding a factory to make walls, might as well craft what u need manually, especially since they made it where u can double click on the structural module crate and auto-load 10 into the schematic.

Not really when you have nothing else to do. With limited storage you can now make PA halls with very little free space in your inventory. I would say thats a big help than having to have at least 15 slots free for the walls alone. We can have both ways

I'm manually makingwalls now that you can just double click the struct module crate and fill all 10 slots at once.
