Is it safe to build and sell +7 medium and +10 heavy harvs? I am still selling them at same prices as before in case they revert but, I have been holding off on really making a push to fill large orders for the better ones as I had no clue if and when they were going to change the whole system again.

How much longer? Wait till the BIG patch?

Depends on the way you look at it I suppose, I build em and sell em, but since they dont cost me any more to make, I just dont charge more for em. That way I am nothurting my customers.

I would definitely NOT be charging the same price for a medium that extracts like an old heavy but costs at a medium rate. I sell very few but always explain the huge risk in getting experimented harvesters right now, remember GreenMarine has already said the MISTAKE will be fixed.

Expect MAJOR changes and possibly nerfs when Player Cities come out, at least that is the timing I am hearing from the TC.

Granted, they don't use a lot of resources, but the subcomponents when experimented on, if it is less than great then you have to destroy it and make another, its not a huge risk but does add to the cost. Or are you just lucky?

NOT soon for the patch. TC is extremly unstable. Zones crash when pulling out a mount in the city, among other things. I wouldn't get too excited yet.

I don't play on test center but just think about what's going into this patch. Completely new game systems in creature mounts, player cities, and a new profession. This patch is by far the biggest thing they've done since release and it may not go live for 4-6 weeks. If they can smooth things out and avoid the bugs and problems that hit the live servers after the last big patch the wait will be worth it. I hope they don't rush it to the live servers but instead give those tortured Test Center folks plenty of time to find/fix most of the glaring bugs.

I don’t know if you want to call it lucky or not, but there is only 1 component in each extractor that determines its extraction rate, that component does not take up a 10th of the materials to make the extractor, and I notice that a good creation with a good experimentation does very well.

You don’t need to hunt to amazing successes.

I rarely ever have to throw one away. and If I do I am working on a schematic anyway so I loose 1 our of the next 20 or so I make, almost no loss at all.

I certainly see no reason to pass that cost to my customers, it is a drop in the bucket.

I respectfully disagree with people not increasing prices.

Weaponsmiths do it. Armorsmiths do it. I'm going to as well.

After being informed by a customer that my 200k sale earned 2M in 2 weeks, I'm done pricing low. High quality stuff, same-day delivery, and a premium-but-fair price.

There's room for us all, even in the shrinking market. So far.

I actually hope everyone does increase prices, becasue that will increase mine as well. I base my prices on the average going rate, not on units used or on precieved value of a resource or on what I think something is worth.

I base mine on what my customers will believe is a very good value.

plain and simple charge what you want to charge.... i'd just be sure they understand the potential risk... if they still want to buy, then its on them if they get reverted.
