Thread: Arch Correspondent Go to bat for us
Here's what we need:
1) Harvesting mechanism schematic fixed so we can make flora farms geater than level 1 (micro).
2) Admin rights for factories and housing fixed so we can drop stuff and share factories, as was promised.
3) At the very least a few more lots. In beta we had 70, now we have 10. Come on it's killing us more than anyone else.
4) Removal of power and coin from harvesters when redeeded.
5) PA's should use zero lots.
There is more, but if we can get these fixed I would be inclined to be satisfied short term.
Thanks, good luck, and go get 'em!
1.) ok
2.) i like limitations on the amount that a arch can physicly produce
3.) fewer lots = lower resources = fewer houses = better price for less work = good
4.) minor problem, good for taking money and resources out of the economy... something this game needs
4.2)
4.2) FIX THIS STUPID THING
4.3) increase the cost of mantance by 10x; you people seem to think that just because it costs 1/2 a cred a resource you should sell houses at 1cred a resource... prices need to be higher, while income needs to be smaller.
if it costs just 5 creds a unit of, say, ore you people will wake up and realize that you are charging stupid low prices.
i'm from radiant, and the revent nerf just caused production to go UP because everyone got medium insted of small harvesters! /shake self
please people, a small house should take more than anhour of delivery runs to buy! a home is an investment, and should reflect one of the most expensive/valuble things you can buy.
5.)PA halls... taking no lots... hey! i'll live in a PA hall at that! *who wouoldn't be living in a PA hall?*
I have to disagree on the higher costs will force prices up. this will not increase profit margin for architects as the price dive wasnt caused by the majority. The price dive was cause by grinders and PA's who did not care about money and were just pumping out houses to get to master architect so they could place thier Guild Hall.
The only thing higher costs will do is hurt everybody .... 15k for some vibro knuckles will jsut become 20k and well still be stuck trying to sell our homes for 15k and being laughed at by people who get more use out of those vibro knuckles.
Magus,
If you wish all architects to charge higher prices, then please start your own thread stating it.
This thread is for our correspondent to get an idea of what we (by that I mean 99% of other master architects I have talked to) wish to see changed short term.
Aggreed on the harvesting mechanizism, that is a must and should be an easy fix. They may have broke that on purpose due to some bug in the larger farms? That would keep them out of the game, as it has. However we still need them and all the code for the smaller ones in there, can't be that hard.
PA halls make great homes and should take plots. On this note, 12 plots would be better than 10.
Crates get very buggy at time, factories need to pull items from crates themselves. Not able to retrieve item from crate depending on what subserver you are on needs to be fixed.
Need addition of art works, sculpures and paintings, rugs, working lightsfor furniture. There is this great floor lamp used in NPC tents as a light source. That would be an excellent light to make. More chair and bed types like the med center set.
Moving items up and down is needed. Rotate up or down as well.
1) Fix the operate machine connection lost bug (it's very annoying getting disconnected at least 10 times a day because of this)
2) Save maintenance and power pools for deeds reclaimed (or withdraw those when reclaiming the structure, either way suits me fine)
1 ) More color for furnitures or something that would make them specials.
2) FIX the MASTER architect ARmoire, it shouldn't be hard. Actually The architect armoire is not white like the rest of the set, it is the same **edit**ing armoire that you get at furniture lvl 2. Shouldn't be hard to repair
3) Must be fixed : Harvesting mechanism ASAP
4) You shouldn't be able to have access to 100 harvesters alone, give architect more lots but don'T let the harvester to be shared. It would be fair for eveyone and we wouldn't see massive flood on the market made by the big PA cause they can afford it.
5) Just an idea like that. I would really like to see an option SURVEY all that would give you the % of everything at the place you surveyed just like harverster do. It's a pain to scan for 10 steel + 10 cooper + 10 ore + etc.
6) Let Artisan/Architect have a faster way to MAINTAIN and Deposit power for their harvester, maybe a droid that would make that for us ? It's a pain to do harvesters run. It takes me like 2 hours a day because I need really specific things. It's A MUST have. Or a boost in the walk speed for each Survey Point you have ??
That's all for me.
Be free to comment on my ideas, Constructive comments please
He would be going to bat, to take a swing at our heads if he suggested more lots.
We need fewer lots, and fewer resources, didn’t you follow my logic?
I can’t let dangerous ideas stand around, and just because ‘99%’ of the people in you’ve talked to, doesn’t make it the right idea.
The whole economy needs MUCH less in the way of ore.
Magus are you stupid ? The very only people undercutting like mad are people haveing 20 players lots to produce. Fewer lots won't do **edit**. They will still have maybe 7 * 20 lots ? And independant player will have 7 lots ? IT WON'T DO **edit**. My point is don't allow people to have access to 20 x 7 or 10lots. If you make it more difficult to share harvesters.. And personnaly I think that beside the artisan tree/ Medic tree no one should be able to place harvesters on their freaking lots.
I agree that the harvester mechanism bug needs to be fixed. As soon as possible
I don' t agree that the number of lots need to be changed. The way things stand right now, you can own a larger house, but not many harvesters....or a lot of harvesters, but not a large house. There's a trade off involved that requires some decision making on the players part, and I'm all for that.
My wish would be for more functional furniture....i.e crates and armoires that actually can store items, as opposed to just sitting around taking up space.
