Hi all,
First let me say that I am not an Architect, I am a Droid Engineer so please forgive me for invading your board

I was just flicking through the board when I noticed a thread about building storage facilities and thought I'd bring up an idea I had a while ago, that I thought would be great for Architects.
My idea was basically that an Architect (maybe a Master only) would be able to come to your house and do a spot of interior design. Wait! come back I haven't finished yet

I don't mean interior design in the manor of moving your furniture around, but like this:
I am a DE as I have already mentioned. This (like most of the crafting professions) takes a lot of storage space (damn droid brains).
I call in my friendly neighbourhood Architect and he comes over to my house to evaluate my needs. What we decide I need isa storage room. The Architect goes over to my structure terminal and selects an option that only MArch's can see. I then /consent him/her. Until the Arch walks out of my house they can modify the usage of rooms within the structure - maybe the Arch can have a blueprint of the house appear. When they select a room on the blueprint they have several options to choose from to designate that room specifically for. Examples I have thought of:
Storage Room
The storage room can hold X crates of goods (amount in each crate doesn't matter really). This limit does NOT count towards the total of items held within the house. This room cannot accept anything other than crates (and maybe some lighting...)
Bedroom
This room gives bonuses to the players heal time meaning that rest and relaxation heal the player at a (marginally) quicker rate to normal. The increase shouldn't be huge as we wouldn't want to alienate docs or entertainers but enough to make a difference to people who have access to neither. Maybe the usage of chairs or beds in this room could have a different effect.
Kitchen
Obviously one for the chefs out there, but maybe adds an experimentation bonus to creating food/drink items. Chefs themselves could have a few things that can only be created in a proper kitchen after all it must be better to craft things in a kitchen when compared to doing it in the desert.
Workshop (different kinds for weapons, droids, armour etc)
The workshop gives added bonuses to crafting abilities depending on the type of workshop that it is. The reason that these should be seperate is firstly because chefs have one seperate themselves and secondly because as peoples tastes change and they change careers, this would be repeat business for the Master Arch.
Shop Front
Gives some sort of bonuses to Master Merchants (maybe gives some abilities that Master Merchants won't have without a shopfront). Haven't thought about this one much as Merchants could do with a bit of a revamp anyway in my opinion...

Maybe have an Estate Agent option so you Archs get some benefit from this too...
Training Room
No need for the combat classes to miss out on this. Maybe give bonuses (almost like a buff) if the player trains before going out on a mission. This could go along with a new puchbag piece of furniture that Archs can make for melee fighters and maybe have the little flying droid things from A New Hope to shoot (crafted by me of course) for the ranged combat classes.
Lots more brainstorming required but this is something that I think would benefit everyone, and should give you guys some much deserved respect. Obviously you can argue the prices out among yourselves. Maybe if you didn't want to come out and perform the service the room can be customized at deed time, but still allow someone to come out and change it at a later date.
Anyways, just my thoughts... (Can I have some Power Core Units for my droids now please...? )
