Thread: What is the usual prices for crafting stations at various function ratings?
That's only using the base components which is metal. To get those numbers he is using metal with 950ish conductivity.
Adding the options is what takes a long time, and the effectiveness rate gets quite a bit higher than 13, if the options are all experimented on.
Speaking as a customer, I've seen the stations sold by 3 archi's on my server at 40ish functionality. They all priced them 30-50k. Everyone else I've seen (dozens of archi's) just price them at 2-3k and I'm guessing aren't using the subcomponents (func ratings anywhere from -45 to +15). I have yet to see any in the middle ground.
I suppose the 50k'ers sell...but personally, I'd have issues with paying more than 120k for the set....probably easier for people who only buy 1, though.
It's hard to keep these things in stock nowadays... but I'm sure the market will eventually dry up... But then again... There's always that chance I can make a better design.

+41 station around 40k they sell fairly fast.
My next batch I think are possibly going to crack +43 and if they do I will be looking for at least 50k for them.

Anybody know the effective rating of the in-town crafting stations? Are the crafted crafting stations better or worse?
They don't have a rating. So I assume it's 0.
I'm making a guideline on how to price structures, and I realized that I can make crafting stations which are significantly better than others.... and when I mentioned that fact to other crafters who I talk with frequently, they all wanted to buy one.
Now, I'm wondering if perhaps architects do have one item worth crafting that could be sold as something other than a special order. Too badthat it doesn't decay either.
At 40 and up, I use ( 1000 * FR ) + 15k.
So, a +40 for example, is worth 55k.
At the range of 20 - 39 the formula is (600 * FR ) + 10k. So my stations with ratings +30 are 28k each.
This works for me
That sounds close to what I was thinking of doing, Joy...... I'm considering just pricing anything with a rating of 3 or higher at Function Rating X 1000.
So
+40 = 40,000
+17= 17,000
After all the crafting stations will last the customer forever.
I have mine grouped into categories, which are approximately:
Under 10: 2000
15-19: 8,000
20-24: 12,000
25-29: 16,000
30-36: 20,000
