Hey Architects, I was hoping I could get some creative imput on how to make a medium Naboo house into a "Big Game" Hunter's Lodge. So far I have purchased a selection of Bio-animals, plants and misc furniture... Unfortunately I am at a loss on how to put this all together.

What I am after is:

- 2 or 3 small caged animals, plus maybe one large impressive cage with a big critter. I am figuring about 10 metal staves should do for bars on the big cage, but what do you think might make a good base? Also, how do you think small cages (jax size) might be accomplished?

- Mounted animal heads, skins, tribal masks, fireplace, spears, animal bones, ect. Is any of this stuff in game? Or can anyone think of a way to make them out of commonplace stuff?

If anyone has some ideas for my Lodge, I would love to hear them! Thanks!

What server are you on?

Structure mods will make a grey base, ottomans a black base, master level chests a white base.

There is an "Empty Cage" loot item that will hold a Jax, I believe its a rebel themepark drop.

Mounted heads are made by sticking the BE deeded creatures into a wall. They will move though, gives a haunted house feel.

Several fireplaces have been made, check the design contests at the top of this page.

There is a krayt skull and a bol skull, these are called hunting trophies, no Hunting Lodge would be complete without them.

Ild recommend some fish mounted on the walls, Gun and melee weapon racks, a blue or orange rug on the floor and the gong would look nice.

A medium house only holds 150 items, so the upstairs, basement and side room will most likely be empty and you will have no storage. Put a couple of the round naboo storage sheds out back.

I actually made a hunting lodge in one of those style houses, as my first real attempt at interior decorating.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm on the Starsider server.

Any idea how to get a Bol skull? I have no problem hunting Bolle Bol's, but I have never seen a skull drop. Also, any idea which part of the Rebel Themepark has the small cages? It just happens that I am Rebel, but havn't gotten to that theme park yet.

I started decorating last night. I have a big roaring fireplace with a long table in front with some chairs... Kinda looks like a Medevial dining hall. I put down several trees and a number torches, plus an assortment of weapon racks. Next to the stairs I build my big cage with ottomans for the base and top (what a pain hehe). Eventually there will be a Blurrg in the cage, but for now there is just a sad looking Kaadu.

By pushing two square metal chairs together and adding a verticle lamp, I made some interesting looking light-stands. Oh yeah, and I hid a dozen Bearded Jax all over the place... peeking from behind furniture, hiding in plants, on top of bookshleves. It looks like I have an infestation hehe.

Currently I am at 72 objects. I will probably need another 30 or so in the main hall, leaving 50 items for the rest of the house. Should work out I think. When I'm done, I'll be sure and post some screenshots!

Some suggestions for things to include would be the master hunter trophy (Bol Skull), Krayt Skull, Preserved Ewok Spleen, etc.

Wow Ripchi, I love it! Thanks for the ideas. I might have to copy your creature trophy case design!

To mount some pets you're going to need to get armoires or cabinets or at the very least chests in order to hide most of the BE pet's body. I mounted a dewback for somebody's house and it turned our alright looking although the movement kinda kills it. Sucker just wouldn't fit into the wall though. Maybe some smaller pets would work better for you. Oh and use an armor segment for the plaque it's mounted to.

For spears just put a dagger or any other knife really on top of a staff, or use some of the polearm weapons.

And mounting fish would be alright but you could also make a tank and not kill 'em all.

Got the bol skull info from www.swg-decor.com. It's actually called "Master Hunter Trophy" or something like that (search for trophy).

NPC Name: Mat Rags
WP: -2977 2458
Planet: Tatooine

The cage is given by luke skywalker. He's the final NPC in the rebel themepark. Just take the mission, put the cage in your pack, abort the mission, and start over to get as many as you want.

If you're pushing your item cap, mounting the fish instead of building a tankwill save on item count.

one other thing i'd like to suggest which should help increase the variety of cage floors is to have the large cage built higher than the floor of the room, say a floor made up of cheap cabinets. then on top of that you could use say a cafe table as the floor of the cage on which to add bars.. though personally i'd use something other than a naboo house, they look a bit cushy for a rough 'n tumble hunter

hope this helps.
