*Looks around deviously*

All we have to do is stop refering to all of our problems as "bugs" and instead call them "exploits".

For example:

  • "Yellow couches are extremely exploitable!"

  • "The Ballot Box is so exploited up beyond all recognition!"

  • "The crit exploit seems to be working even better after the last patch!"

  • "Do you know aboutthe experimentation cap exploit?"

  • "Hope they don't know about the stuctural factory input hopper vs. cratesexploit."

  • "The advertising/barking exploit is great! I get so much money and xp from that!"

Then when they fix anything, we call it a nerf, to keep up appearances

  • "Man, they seriously nerfed that factory exploit! I miss redeeding every few hours!"

Then when they do keyword seaches on "exploit" all our stuff will be at the top of the list....

MUHAHAHAAA!

Call me mad, but it's just crazy enough to work....

No No No, it is supposed to be all self- centric.

A bug isanything I dont like whether it is intended or not
A feature is anything I do like even of others call it an exploit
An exploit is something some one else uses that I cant
A nerf is when something is balanced in a way I don’t like

So when they nerf someone else, that is fixing an exploit to me
When I take advantage of a cheat it is a feature but if you do it is an exploit.

etc etc

This has been the standard for dozens of games now.

Um......yeah.......or, he could be saying that if we call the bugs exploits maybe we'll catch the devs' attention and they'll fix them right away because they jump on exploits without a moment's hesitation but they ignore architect bugs forever and without shame.

Man, the Arch forum is a tough crowd. Course it seems like one kid goes through and votes EVERYTHING down on the front page down to one star from time to time. Wonder why. *shrug*

Mostly the point, but if you have to explain it, it wasn't funny. I'll try harder.

....cause if you're an Architect, you just GOTTA laugh, or you'll go nuts.

Very very tough crowd it seems. This went about 10 feet over Dayln's head.

Very nice post, better idea than most.

No, no, I think he got it, and tried to reply with humor in kind. That's how I took it anyway.

I personally love the ballot box exploit. You can put in in an obnoxious place and no one not even you can pick it up. You can spend a good amount of time putting in a ballot and then at the daily server reset all results are lots and the ballot is reset so you can exploit by saying whatever results you want to say were tallied.
