I'm on starsider, but any server opinion is desired. What's the going rate on Medium Mineral Harvs with a BER of 10? Thanks.

The best price I've seen is 30k. I buy all my harvestors from this guy. The highest I've seen is 75k. The most rediculously priced harvestor I've seen was a large mineral miner(forgot the name), BER was 7 and the price was 125k.

I see them selling well at 40k, so I am selling at 35k, huge profits.

I've been selling perfect experimentations for quite a bit, while sluffing off the experiment failures for cheap. BER10 mediums are 10k per point (yes, 100k, regardless of type) and BER13 heavies are 15k per point, for a whopping 195k. It seems I'm one of the few architects on Valycn who actually makes stuff for sale to people outside a guild, and I'm never without parts or resources. People come back to me because they always get the deeds they want, when they want them.

As it turns out, when the server lags and I get lots of failures Isometimes end up making 5 harvesters just to get one perfect enough to sell the guy who ordered it. Soon a bad dayit's not as much profit as it sounds. But on good days, life is very good.

I'm curious to know how much people sell *12s* for, to see just howvaluableany thing less than perfect is. So far, I've been using them to replace my own fleet of old heavy 10s, so haven'ttried to sell them at all.

I just bought 84 BER 10 mediums from Giles on Chilastra for 20K each.

my prices havnet changed in quite a few months, even with the new BER craze

med water/mineral/solar = 10k
all other meds = 35k

well.. I have a sliding scale that makes any of my harvesters sellable..

Rate 1 = 500
Rate 2 = 1000
Rate 3 = 3000
Rate 4 = 5000

Medium Extractor Prices
Rate 6 = 25000
Rate 7 = 50000
Rate 8 = 75000

yes I sell mediums for more heavies, and as well they should be, they cost less to run! I dont care about what they take to make..they last forever! IMHO yes heavies use more resources but the quality of the ore and metal in walls can be just 1! the materials where the quality matters are the minining units and the final build.. and these are comparible between mediums and heavies..

I use high quality mediums to subsidise creation of the heavies. I need to get ore from somewhere! I offer deals to buyers they provide me with a weeks or so's harvest of ore I give them a harvester. it works well for me and my customers..

IMHO if medium 10's sell for 40k then no-one will ever buy a heavy! and a failed experiment on a medium just has to be binned.. well after you have 6 experimental fails in a row with your best 900+ steel ask yourself if you are making a profit..why not just sell your steel to an armoursmith!

so if you buy 2 BER 10 mediums from me and you place them on an 80%,900+ quality resource for 6 days and then sell the ore for5 creds per unit.. that is 700kso the two harvesters cost 200k? well that isstill half a mill profit in week one! and 700k in week 2!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love hearing from architects who charge based on worth rather than raw materials! Yes, people pay this! Yes, they still make money with the deeds! Yes, they are return customers!

Now, when it only takes me one medium harvester to make 100k, look how much more resources I have left over than the people who sell 3 or 6to make the same 100k......

90k BER 10 medium, 185k BER 13 heavy.

I calculated the minimum I felt I would need to recover cost of resources if I crit failed on experiment and then escalated the price according to improved BER based around time to breakeven for the miner... works out to be around 4-4.5 days, not bad for a weeks work eh ? !

My BER 10 Mineral harvesters are 35K

Then I have a sliding scale for other ratings.

BER 9 is 30K, BER 8 is 25K

For the others, that require 3 walls, I had 27K to the above prices.For example, Medium Chemical BER 10 is 62K.

30K for rate 10 mediums. I am one of the lowest prices on Ahazi.

I charge 75K for rate 10 medium chem and gas and 150K for any rate 13 large.

If you want to check my vender at (-1890, -2927) on tat. I have some there at 65-75k each.

If there none left, I'll be droping off another batch in the next day or so.
