When I build a Crafting station I can built it with just 450 units of metal or I can add 9 optional components.

Of what benefit are those optional components?

As far as I can tell it's impossible to distringuish one crafting station from any other once it's assembled?

When you make a crafting station you have the option of adding a hopper, those are the optional additions to the regular schematic. Components for the hopper include at least some only craftable by a master artisan. Advantage to the hopper is access to a stored resource pool via the crafting tool in your inventory. This means that as you collect resources you can deposit them directly into your nearest station which corresponds to the tool and when you want to craft using that tool access the stored resources.

Can't tell you any more as I haven't used it myself.

So what should I charge for a crafting station? Around 5k?

When you examine a private craft stations, those with a hopper have a different description. Also when you use the radial for your crafting tool, you will see the option for the input hopper if there is one available.

Doh, I just made Master Artisan last night. I was holding off building a crafting station until I could make one complete with all the toys. I hope it's working.

Must...find...Novice Droid Engineer...to...build...Droid...Storage...Units...

I don't think I will be picking up the 28k gcxp so that I can build these myself.

Ok so lets say I have a structure crafting station with a hopper and I jam it with low grade ore and aluminum. When I craft a structure module which requires both, will the schematic be automatically prefilled with the components from the hopper?

Right now when using a crafting tool, you see the resources from your main pack on the left hand side....will there be an additional window now showing what's in the hopper?

I'm trying to figure out if its worth having a hopper and if it makes crafting faster in anyway.

thx for the feedback,

No think it just shows both your hopper and invintory in the side window

When you find a Droid Engineer have him/her make you a couple schematics rather than the components.

Repair tools also use these compartments.

If you are desperate /tell or email Cylus Harbinger on Corellia.
