The prices are per dose, so a 5 stack sunburn would be 1250 by that guide. It's a good place to start, but you might shift up or down based on your local competition and resource costs (if applicable). I tend to use the prices for average buffs (basically whats listed on that page) and adjust up or down depending on how the actual experimentation went, or occasionally knock off a dose when doing my calculation (so charge for a 4 stack if it actually comes out with 5).

It may work on some svrs but not for Bria at least. Each svr has thiereconomy, When a good flora resourse selling at 10cpu on market, you use the Rallszek price guide, you will be bankrupt in few days.

So what I suggest your pricing guide is set a price on ur product with some profit you think reasonable like 15-20cpu of ur cost, adjust it higher when you noticed that it no longer gone from the vendor so fast and you really can see it staying on vendor fora day, That price is the acceptable price for your customer on ur server. Same thing if you set it a sky price and no one buy it, drop the price till someone buy it from you vendor.

This is the Bria Image Designer Union's price list. It may seem high, but many, many people are willing to pay it. The only people it seems who complain about the prices are

A) Those who think we don't charge for IDs

B) Other image designers who feel we charge too much

I wouldn't mind being included in that discussion, since I'm a Master ID on Wanderhome. ( I'nessa )

Not to offend anyone but I personally am NOT going to change the way I price ID's. Even with the mini-publish I'm still going to charge the same rate. Just because it's new we don't have to raise prices.Like the new droids, I asked around and a few people were selling them for 120k+ for ent ones. Yes they are cool, but why pay an outrageous price when you know a week laterthe prices will be fine and down to a normal price. After shopping around I found some more reasonable at 35 - 50k for an R3. Just because it's new doesn't mean we should gouge our customers and once the fad is over drop our prices back down to a reasonable level. I know every other profession does this but I do not see why other than to make a quick buck, andthat isn'tanyway to treat a customer in my eyes. As I said I will not be changing prices and do not intend to. Just my two cents.

The difference here is, we're not crafters. We don't have a way to charge x amount per unit of resource or anything like that. We have to charge what we think is fair; therefore, we have a lot of price fluctuation amongst our profession. I don't think anyone else is planning to raise their prices; I know the Wanderhome price list has been in effect for quite a while.NO ONE here is out to gouge the customer. But beware of gouging other ID's, it could come back to bite you. And if you charge a LOT less than the other ID's on the server, that's exactly what will happen. I've seen the Wanderhome price list, and I think it's more than reasonable. Not a one of them are out to take the customer for a ride, so I think you'd be much better off working with the other ID's on your server, rather than drastically undercutting them. Just MY two cents.

Well I have always just charged tips. Whatever they think is fair. Usually this works well for me. I'll certainly join in the discussion for prices, will I decide to adopt said prices, only time will tell there (I never saw a list of prices for wanderhome but I'm sure it's reasonable I just do not want to see a huge spike in the prices as a result of these new changes). Then again I don't do ID for the money, the only time I play my ID is when im looking for the social enviroment versus the "Kill Kill Kill" enviroment of my alt. Four cents now? heh

All, right we're up to eight cents total! I work for tips as well. My ID character is a multimillionaire, which means I have a lot more freedom to do ID at my leisure and not have to worry about racking up the cash. But I'm very cautious about lowering the value of other Tarq ID's work. And I generally want to slap people when I see them advertising free ID work (sometimes I do slap them, LOL). Charging for image design is a funny thing, y'know? We don't really have any way to charge a set price, unless we charge x credits for the number of mind points each change takes... and even then, it doesn't cover the cost of the session itself. However, that could maybe be not a bad idea... maybe charge5 - 10creds per mind point or something. *shrug* Of course this would have to be based on how much it costs us BEFORE we take brandy.
