Thread: Fail Fail Fail Fail
Yes I experience the same.
Apparently they MEANT to put in -35 Structure Crafting, not +35
Don't you love it? I've failed 2 fusions, and a guild hall so far on the final assembly. A devastation from
which there is hard to recover from. <sigh>
I had failed on a wall once before and a generator once before, but never had many problems since I always made sure to use quality materials for anything important.
Tonight I got furniture III, and suddenly I had two critical failures on big items, using quality materials in a period of about a half hour. I also noticed that most things that I succeed upon have suddenly gone down in quality. Many things pop out now with 2% to 5% quality. Of course I don't use those things to make important stuff. So why the change?
Everyone now knows what is the reason.
The **edit** furniture skill takes away skill instead of adding to skill. A developer used a minus sign when he should have used a plus sign --- more evidence of our failing school system.
How nice to be playing beta. You would think with people posting about this here for over two weeks now, and about how severe this bug is that they would have fixed it by now. But NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Devs are too busy nerfing all the combat classes to give us any of their precious time.
We are stuck in Architect-hell here.
Chocobacca.
Zarcath,
If you can drag yourself from dreaming about your future house and furniture designs, it would be nice if you could get us some action on this #1 problem for architects.
not a single failure until..... final build of factory!
not once but twice!
thats right ladies and gentlemen, 2 factories within 30 minutes of each other. none of the sub componenet failed, just the final build.
so Docdavee i bought 2 factories off you that night, lol.
finally recupped my losses a week later
i only fail on low-complexity things now that i'm at master... back when i failed on 2 large houses... *went up furniture first, becasue i hated crit-fail so much*
oh, and whare is just a regular fail? anyone ever get one of these while building? i haven't, and i've done a LOT of building... hit my number of Crit-Fail, but never regular 'try again, here are your resources back' fail.
Like i said, my problem isn't the fail of the final product yet. Although i see that happening in the future. My problem is when i have to build 16 wall modules for a large house bc i fail what is it 33% of the time when before i would fail 1% of the time. Also the struture modules i would fail 3 times in a row sometimes. If u add it all up, i could have made 20 wall units but the fails have droped me down to 10 wall units with about 45k low grade ore. I mean, u are saying that i will need 60k low grade ore just to make a guild hall bc of the out rageous number of fails.

30k from master architect
ahazi
What bothers me is I havent seen one single dev post on any of the architect topics. Not a single were working on it and it should be fixed in such and such patch, nothing. I havent seen anything even summing up the problems from the correspondent. Feed back from whats hes learned talking to swg. Nothing!
We post daily about the issues and problems and get no feedback from SWG.
I dont even currently have ore on my planet Naboo...I guess that fixes the failure problem just don't build anything!
I love this...I hate gambling so I make a factory, but there's no way you can make a schematic for any of our final builds...it's just not at all ecomomical. We're the only class like that AND we get the lowest pay per unit of resource used. I've tried jacking up my price to 4c per unit, but they still come...I've ratcheted up to 5c per unit, but STILL they come. I don't have the nerves to build for a straight cash transaction any more. I try to get people to go buy the resources, then bring them to me to make an attempt at a building. Right now, my success rate on equipment factories is around 50%...I've failed 4 since I became master...this is just stupid.
Fixed the failure rate issue, fix the harvesting mechanism, fix the stupid immoveable couches, then fix the amount of resources required for a building....then leave us alone.
