I have never had a problem .. with schematics not getting finished.. this last two weeks i have had 3 structure modules.. not finish ... and using up all the resources too.. and 2 wall schematics not finish using up the resources too...

all of these make it to about 985-992.. this is just weird.. is this anything that others have noticed or are my factories bugged?

I've noticed one of my structure factories continually stopping by its self. I checked maint, power, output hopperspace, the resources and components, all fine. Once restarted it will run for a few more then stop again. I'll try redeeming beforeI make anything else in it, as it took around3 days to make a batch of SSM's.

Had mine eat the schematic (structural modules) twice yesterday. Put in the schematic, fed in the materials, went to start but no option. Turned out the schematic slot was empty!

Ran back, made a brand new one, put it in and exactly the same, no schematic installed. Next time put it in and it ran just fine. Go figure,

I've had this happen to me a few times now, but just put it down to miscalcs on the inputs. Then last night I did a schematic to craft 17 x swoops and added the required resources for all 17. When I went to check it this morning, the factory has created 14 bikes only, and I was left with my normal buffer of resources!!!! So all I can gather is that 3 swoops must of failed during the factory run.

Now I have a customer (who supplied me with the resources) asking where the other 3 swoops have gone?

I am now finding the same thing on everything I run through a factory - a schematic with a 1000 Structure Modules (and resources for 1005) churned out 985 mods with nothing left over. A schematic of 25 Master Architect Couches (and about 10 Cloth to be left over), produces 24 and left me with three whole crates of Coth left over!!!!). I am now very wary of putting Harvesters through the factory as a "hidden critical failure" could result in me loosing bigtime.

Come on SOE - if you are going to add a "feature" at least let us know about it

Wow. I'm NOT on crack. Made 10 fusions. Got six. Double-clicking on factory said "Produced: 10". What the hell is going on?

well in that case they should apear when server resets..

although with no risk on fusions since we cant exp on them id advise not wasting the resources on a schematic for them ^ ^

Check your email for messages from the factory. I started having this problem a few days ago. My email would say something like Subject: Factory Internal Error and the message was something like @system_manf:factory_error_9

Aparently customer support knows of the issue, though I havent gotten back with them yet. Schematics which stop with this error will continue to eat components and error out untill server resets.

Did this all start after the last hotfix?

Funny someone should mention mail. Today I didn't get any email when my factory stopped after a normal run. I got all my items but no email.

Its a problem when you are using someone elses lots for factories (as I do and have always done). Hate having to babysit factories to make sure they dont inadvertently stop, chew resources with making something, etc.

I cant get my factory to work on my lots OR on a friends, I even gave HIM the schematic (i was able to pull mine out) and the resoruces, freaking nada! Starts, stops in 20seconds, no resources no items.

Infuriating me beyond belife, so is 500+ pe power that isnt doubling..

I think alot of it has to do with the fact that factories have an item limit to them... you think you are at your 1500 item limit? i have a feeling it counts the input and output hoppers. Also if your factory stops on making somehting it will not eat the components, but it will eat any resources involved in the attempt to make the item.
