These are going to have a huge range in prices. I've seen 2k-25k on my server alone.
I happen to charge 16k and at that price I've sold 400k worth in the past month.

In Bestine on Tatooine there is a building named the Museum. There is a curator in there in a side room to the left when you are entering. He'll sell the schematic for 48k. The schematic is 2 uses but you can make factory schematics out of them. It requires furniture III to learn.

So you can buy a schematic - with 2 uses - and make 2 x 1000 factory run schematics with it..?

Within a month that a painting is up, I charge 10k.
After the painting schem can not be baught I charge 20k.
The first painting I now (4 months later) charge 50k

Yes
Generally the limiting factor is the amount of hide you can get.

I start out with 5K and add 5K each time there is a new painting. Therefore the new painting is currently 5K with the oldest one at 25K. Probably going to stop with 30K as a maximum price though.

Honestly, I don't sell the paintings anymore, I buy the schematic, make me a batch of paintings and hand them out to the citizens in my city that I live in.
When I was selling them, it was through my alt character, and he would sell 25 a day at 3500 credits each on the open bazaar. It gave him his travel money and that way it didn't take away from my architects bank roll to support another character.
The prices I have seen on my server, Shadowfire, have ranged from 3500 (me) to as much as 50k for a painting. Yep, some people tried to get their money back on 1 painting. I think they did it too. lol

They dont sell very well here on Wanderhome, the bazzar gets flooded with them quickly so they sell for 6k here, even the older ones.

Wow, that makes me pretty damn expensive then.
If it's a cool looking painting it sells for between 15K-18K the first month; more if it's a "large" painting.
If there are any left on the vendors come the next cycle they get a price decrease to 13K. I stop at 10K though.
They are still a good seller. I think the key is to have a well stocked vendor of ALL types of furnishings. One stop shopping is a great way to pry open those purse strings.
Cheers

I recently decided grinding out master architect wasn't a feasible money maker (yeah, I'm slow on the ball here) for my alt, so I did 3000, with master artisan, 4401 merchant, and the rest will be put into shipwright. I collected all the painting schematics "just in case" so I'm currently doing factory runs of the petals1, moncal1, house, and when I can find the darn schematic, the krayt. Been pricing the house at 12K, soon to move to 15, the petals at 12, the eye at 20, and they krayt will be 30K, depending on the resource usage. I have a ranger hired at 4 CPU for bulk hides, so hopefully I can keep cranking them out. Haven't sold too well, but I'm new to the game, so I'm giving it time.
