I agree that there are very few of us left. And that probably does mean SOE thinks we aren't worth putting much effort into.

So what are you suggesting? That we make many more postings and many more replies on them?

Is it not amazing that Test Center has new songs and dances for entertainers - yet NONE of our issues are even responded to.

Maybe we should all drop architect - so there are none left and become dancers to buff people for 5k a pop.

I just found it on the new Portal. It lists how many posts each forum has. Of all the elite professions, Architect has the fewest posts--which I had kind of figured but there it was in brown & purple. And gray. We're not very vocal, but I believe it's more a matter of there's not very many of us to be vocal. As such a tiny minority, they don't feel they have to listen to us as much as, say, commandos.

And in other news, if you have a bug from live, cross post it to the thread in my sig. Cohav's list got deleted from the daily thread report (do-not-repost, per GarVa), so we're taking it on the road, so to speak. :-)

I think the term we are looking for is "learned helplessness."

There is some cofort from knowing no one will hear us scream.

Well if there are few of us then doesn't that mean the few of us have good business? While I do agree that huge advancements could be made to make Architect more fun with easy means (general furniture decay, furniture experimentation effects, new schematics (a new chair is way easier to implement than a new gun) but the fewer architects there are the better the demand for us.

As an aspiring master architect I am sometimes really suprised how many people seem to need cafe tables and lamps (which though having a lifespan don't seem to lose their lighting ability unless moved even after lifespan duration is over).

And on another issue: didn't the devs say that the revamp of non-combat professions will come after the CU?

Yes this is true. Supply and demand will balance out. The few architects left will be able to supply the small demand. BUt individually their sales may be strong. So yes from the perspective of the individual its true some individuals will still see good sales.

This is also why some architects don't see any problems. Their individual sales seem fine so they don't think there is anything wrong.

I've heard such a rumor but I haven't seen a direct quote.

maybe i'm going mad but, since harvester non decays, my harvies sales have dropped around a 40% aprox. I'm in FarStar where some (of the few left) architects are leaving.. let's be honest, the worlds have been already arised/built, now we have nothing to deal with.

I've had more customers lost after WoW than the structure decay change.
