Is it just me or has the new structure maintenance been a death blow to architects? I havent sold a single house or harvester since the patch went live.

Always got new players coming in and people starting harvester farms. Other than that until they add decay or something that will give us a boost, we are a dead profession. Unlike chef, AS, WS, DE, artisan, etc.......
Either tough it out and hope for the best, or find a new profession.

Me either, and I usually sell quite a few harvesters each week. Trouble now is that I have just about 25 of each heavy on my vendor now, and 15 more just about ready in the factories.
But I have faith...business will be back....sooner or later.

Thats a 3 yr reward bonus. Not many people i know have played 36 months
Though to be honest some of these rewards are pretty cool- self powered harvester, ant-decay thing, bunkers, etc....
But its all eye candy.

I'm inlined to agree that it's more of an incap than death.
Spent three days loading the bazaar at coronet with 25 small houses, and come back the next day to see that all 25 were sold, not exactly profitable for me since the amount of resources needed versus how much I use on a daily basis isn't well offset.
All that is proves is that people are out there and they want the buildings, but it just takes time and we got to keep things rolling.

Well I gave up architect and made an auction on galaxy trade of all my old stock, and was surprised that all the harvestors sold within the first day.. 13 ber with 110k storage for 100k each. Business is slow but there are still customers are still out there! The profession is howeverincapped,as you say,so i dropped it on my alt to turn him into a bounty hunter... though i feel in the future i may pick it up again, as i thouroughly enjoyed my time as one.

I'm getting a reasonable amount of sales at present now and am making 500k to a million a week. Just it comes in stages as the moment a good resource appears the sales for the particular harvestor needed spikes and i make a lot of sales. As last high oq spawn of water on Chimaera just after the nerf i sold out of my 20 moisture vaporators and had to make more, in the end just those sales netted me 3 million in a few days.
So the sales are there just not a steady stream for me just the occasional big spike.

I've sold a decent number of houses. And made a good number of harvester sales. Someone inquired about city gardens today and I've made a killing selling resources. And someone owes me a few million for some experimentation tapes I sold.
