I run 3. I am not a volume dealer. However, been considering adding a fourth. If nothing else for storage

I have 4 sturcture Factories.. 3 equipment factories, 1 food and chem, 1 clothing , and they usually are all running at most of the time.. my favorite factory run was my BER14 Heavy Mineral.. I didn't have enough turbine gens with the same serial to complete the run but I kept the schemectic as a reminder that anything is possible

I am now running 5 factories, 3 of them go full time on structurals and walls. I just completed my very first factory run of 1000 walls today
, it took days, but it was satisfying at the end. I am now starting on my next run, going for 1000 gen turbines, 1000 sssm's and 1000 walls. Just wondered how many factories most other architects run ?

We're small time. We put more emphasis on playing the game rather than grinding through components. If someone needs a large house, I make them one (or couch, or swoop or whatever). I'm probably one of the few architects who doesn't have a "booming" business and deal with millions of units of resources or credtis. My prices are also cheap compared to other architects and for these reasons most people don't mind waiting a couple of hours or sometimes a day or two for me to complete their order.
With this in mind...
To answer your question, me and some fellow artisan crafters have sort of an industrial park in our city. We have about 6-8 factories at any given time. We're all on admin at one or another factory and use them when ever we need them. The key here is that we all trust eachother and "play well with others". If someone misbehaves, they're off the admin list.
Anyone in Kettamorecan visit and join our Rebel City for fun, games, PvP and meeting people from all over the world.....I mean, galaxy. Don't expect, however, to get very rich.......just a little rich

I'm not a volume broker either. I dont have a Structure factory down right now...I drop it once a week or so to make a run of something. But I have2 Equipment factories down making Powerups and droid stuff most of the time. I've always thought it would be great if we could run multiple schematics at same time in a single factory. They could make it so that you only add Power to a factory when you are gonna start a run...the power becomes an "invisible" ingredient. The more active runs at one time, the more expensive the power requirment. 2 runs simulaneously would require and additional 25% power...3 runs 33%, 4 runs 50%, etc.... This ouwl save many of us a lot of hassle.

I normally just use 1, but have access to another 3 structures if needed.
We pool all of our factories in the PA and in the city for anyone to use so have access to multiples of all if the need arises (and if they are free to use at the time
).
Running one account is tough at the best of times, and lot swapping helps but I prefer to use those for static harvs rather than factories.

I'm a solo architect but my wife has a character who provides some lots for me. I have 2 structure factories and 2 equipment factories up. They are probably 50+% utilized (I typically make big runs but sometimes they will finish a run when I'm not on
)

Only ever had one structure factory. That seems to be enough to keep a well stocked heavy harvester vendor, and even sits idle from time to time, so I've never felt the need to put up more. I generally only use one equipment factory also.
I guess I'm not a high volume dealer, but it was enough to put 20M in my bank account. *shrug*
