Okay I'm enclosing some screenshots and the instructions on building this fireplace. You can make slight modifications in any of this as you see fit. First of all, here is what you need for items:

x15 - Small Structure Storage Items

x1 - Large Red Couch

x1 - Medium Size Cafe Table (the smaller rectangular one)

x2 - Food Crafting Kits

x3 - Torches

x4 - Structure Crafting Tools

First name only 1 or 2 of the Small Structure Storage Items as (Polished Black Marble Fireplace). Leave the rest (no name).

Name the Red Couch (Burning Embers).

Name 1 of the 2 food crafting kits (Fireplace Grate) and leave the second blank (no name).

Keep the torches the same or label them fire (this part doesn't matter as the torches can't be targeted)

Name the Cafe Table (Antique Mahogany Mantle - or similar)

Name the Structure Crafting Tools (Timber) -you only need to name the end two this and leave the others blank (no name).

First, you start by placing the couch elevated into the wall.

Put all three torches equally placed in the couch.

Combine the 2 food crafting kits to make the large grate and cover the torch ends so that only the flame sticks out.

Put the crafting tools criss-crossed in the middle of the grate so it looks like small timber on the grate.

Turn the structure storage items sideways and stack 7 across the bottom as the base.

Turn two more structure storage items sideways and stack them on the ends to make the long side.

Turn two more structure storage items sideways and stack them as a half marker up above the other 2 (so the two sides now have 6 each stacked so that they appear to be 2 and a half stacks).

Put the table on top to form the mantle. You can dress up the mantle with mantle items if you so choose.

And wala - you have yourself a nice fireplace.

See the screenshots below.

I just use the clothing/armor crafting station.

Looks very much like a modern fireplace/stove.

Heya Delai,

I have to disagree with the crafting station as an idea for a fireplace. First of all it looks more like a furnace and could never be mistaken for a fireplace. Secondly, everyone knows it looks and is a clothing station. The idea is to make things a bit more elaborate and fine tune things up. At least that's what I like to do. The screenshots do not do it enough justice. It is a lot bigger than in the screenshots and it feels and looks very real when you are in the house looking at it.

If anyone wants to take a look at it, I left all the names on the items so you could map it yourself. Just use the instructions I gave though. I'm on Radiant and my estate is on my signature.

I visited it last night and it looks great. Nice job and I see now why you want the names not to be on all the items. What you did was good. Great work!

Fix Jedi.. please.

This is wonderful. I'm not an architect but I just bought a large naboo house and am working on decorating it right now. That very wall was really bugging me - It was begging for SOMETHING.. I was thinking maybe crossed swords or a painting.. But once I saw your fireplace I knew thats what I wanted there. That was even before I looked at all the screenshots and realized thats exactly where you put it too.

One thought though.. Have you considered a chimney to hide the smoke billowing from the torches? Any ideas for that?

Yes I've been mulling over how I want to do the chimney to hide the smoke but I haven't done it yet. I'll see if I can work on that next.

Well I talked to my friendly architect today and had all the parts made for this, spent about an hour putting it together. The instructions were fairly straightward and easy to follow. The only part I was confused about was the crafting stations as logs, but once I got them in place it made sense. I made mine a little bit more eratic than just criss-cross though. I'm not completely happy with it, but I think the only thing that bugs me enough to fix it is the mantle has a small gap below it and the top of the fireplace. I only used two torches and it seemed to work just as well. When I get a chance I'll install a third, I just happened to have two on me at the time.

I suspect my fireplace is a little bit more flush against the wall.. The storage moduels are almost half in the wall if I recall. The couch back is barely not in the wall.

For a chimney, I put in a spare bookcase I had laying around. That actually doesn't look that bad.. Just don't leave any books you want to read later on it, as they will get smoke damaged. I ended up moving the torches back a little from where I had them, and the bookcase is able to cover all the smoke from the front, and most of the smoke from the side. One is enough to take care of all but a tiny wisp above it. Two would completely conceal the unsightly smoke, but I think I'm happy with one. When I get a chance I'll get an architect to make a special "Chimney" bookcase.

I also put a decorative hookah on top of the mantle. *grin* It's for show only, honest.

Congrats and nicely done. I'm still mulling over what I will use for a chimney. I'm going to keep both styles though once I find out. The first style will be without a chimney and the second with.
