When you go to the museum guy how do you know if it's a new painting or not without buying it?

If i'm not mistaken the painting on the wall behind him shows the current painting

no...the new painting is displayed in the corner of the halway before the door to his office, basacally where the guild terminal would be in a tat guild hall, only on the far wall.

Yes we are due a new painging, I'll check when I get home tonight and let ya know, unless someone gets a chance earlier. 8-)

No new painting when I checked just now (11pm London time). In fact, the guy just told me that the next choice for a new painting would not take place for over a week. This seems to suggest to me that they have skipped it? This even though 2 Saturdays ago I voted for the new painting and have checked every other 3 days or so since voting to see if a new painting was on.....

I thought the new paintings were an extension of the Election. One candidate increases the security budget and the other increases the arts budget. Not sure. This might be why the time-table differs from server to server.

The election for the mayor (?) of Bestine is another quest. You vote between Sean or Victor for that one I think and then get a potential reward afterwards which includes among othe possibilities a painting.
That quest is not related to the Bestine Museum paintings that architects get. For the museum paintings the curator has voting between 3 artists every month. Then after a 2 week voting period the artist with the most votes wins and the server gets that painting for the next 4 weeks (approximately).

I realized they were seperate quests, but I thought inter-related. Guess not. Thx for the clarification.

I believe Bria got 'Residential House' - at least somebody has just posted a WTS claiming it is the new painting.
