Hi,
first of all let me give my reason for posting this here and not on the BRIA Trade or Galaxy Forum.
Quite simply, this is aimed at somebody (or somebodies) who is serious about the Architect profession but is struggling to get off the first rung of the ladder. If I posted in the trade forum then I would undoubtetly attract all sorts of people who just want to take advantage of a 'free offer'. I hope therefore that the rest of the Architect community excuse me.
So what is this about?
I have been a practising Architect on Bria since the early days and was fortunate enough to find a Master Architect who helped me in a few small ways to get my business off the ground. I have now decided that I will in turn give some assistance to a fledgling Architect as long as I feel they are deserving.
I am not offering much, but I will ask for some assurances of your good intentions, this offer is not open to already established Architects, or those who have large bank balances, indeed to those people this offer may seem paltry. In this respect I will need you to convince me that you are the right person to benefit from my offer.
So what do you get ?
Over the months I have been playing I have collected small chunks of various resources, some grind quality some high quality,which are of little use to me as I make most of my wares in large factory runs. Rather than simply destroy these resources I will give these for free to the chosen beneficiary(s). At the same time I have some small quanities of components, typically for harvesters, but also some for other structures. Once again, these will be donated free of charge. There will also be further assistance I can give by arrangement which will be a matter for private discussion. Help and advice will be freely and willingly given.
What do I want in return ?
Nothing ! Not a bean ! I will be satisfied with the knowledge that I have helped a struggling Architect to get a foothold.
How do you apply?
By PM stating who you are, your location, your current level, why you want to be an Architect and why you think that YOU should be awarded the 'scholarship'.

Once again, I apologise to all the Architects who are not on my server, or who are too high a level to be considered, but I cannot think of anywhere else to post this where it can avoid attracting the 'wrong sort of people'. And who knows, maybe it will trigger a spate of similar offers.

Right, to add a little more flesh to this, here are some of the items that are likely to be in the offer:
Components to include :
Small structural storage modules
Generator turbines
Structural storage modules (the larger ones)
I will probably throw in some structural modules and some walls
Resources Low Quality:
Steel
Copper
Aluminium
Ore
Lube Oil
Reactive Gas
Inert Gas
In Total over 100k units
HQ Resources:
Steel
Ore
Iron
In Total over 35k units
The offer will be open for 1 week, so get your applications in early if you want to be considered, closing date for entries is midnight 4th August.
I have already received a few applications, I will acknowledge all of these so you will know it has been received.

Damn it why no one does this on Naritus, I'm having so much trouble with my novice architect. Oh well back to trying to earn some money to get a bigger harvester.

/bump for those who have not seen it, still a few days to go, not a big response so far, that makes it a good chance that YOU could be the one getting the scholarship, but you need to apply.

My name is Catfood, a brand new char, my main is also on Bria although definately not wealthy (I had just saved up for a new 20k curved sword), on Bria. I am currently almost done with my surveying line and am planning on moving as quickly as I can to master Artisan on my way to Architect. I can't believe the offer you are proposing, it really is amazing, and I would love to meet with you ingame at some point (Im available now) to meet you, and more importantly let you meet me to see if you wanna hook a fat fish up. Consider shooting me a tell if you would be so kind, and I will drop what I am doing and rush out to meet you.
