Thread: Lots
How do I reclaim my lots after i destroy a structure i own?Relocating mines.
Can i reposition a house? Say to face a different direction?
Do all buildings take up the same number of Lots? Like Personal/Medium/Heavy Harvesters.
at this page http://www.swgarchitect.com/pages/1/index.htmis see that
Small Naboo House (Style 2) only takes 1 slot
and that
Medium House only take 2
is this information correct?
thanks
That is correct.
There are small versions of houses for naboo, the round one takes one lot, the other takes two. The medium naboo also takes two.
Ok I'm sure it's been asked before and will be again. So here it goes does everyone get 10 lots, I think the answer is yes so don't reply to that.
But doREPLY if you think it is a nerf to architects in a manner of speaking.
And I only say that because like anyone else I want a house and of course,I want the big one.A sign of doing a good job hence Master Architect, but the lot cost is 6 lots OUCH.
I need those 6 lots for harvesters, now what if I have a business more lots. Oh I guess I couldrun it from home and have players in and out asking for everything under the sun when I'm trying to craft better parts or have friends over..hehe
But that brings me back to the issue I need lots and all I have is 10, maybe it would be better if I had 16 like a Master CH has for his pets in thedata pad. Which is not great but more than the two everyone has....get the idea.

I agree the 6 lots is a bit steep, but instead of expanding how many we have, I posted an idea a while back thatthe Devscouldadda new (currently only
)benefit to the Construction branch... As we get better at construction, some of the bigger items (large houses and PA Halls) could take less space. This goes with the idea that better merchants can use the economy for less creds as they become better merchants. Let us use less land as we get better at building things.
Tied to this is the items per lot issue... I recently saw a post that pointed out (not a new idea, but one that I saw resurface yesterday or the day before) I can run 3 small houses for less creds and have almost twice the storage space as a large house with the same 6 lots... why bother with the large house?
Just my $0.02
I do my business out of a guild Hall (7 lots) Keep a small house at my old location to let people know i moved, and have one med harvester. Thus am using all of my lots.
What i do to get beyong this is rent lots from other players. or ask my friends if i can use their lots for a few days. Have not been burned yet. Oh i pay anywhere between 100 and 700 creds per day for rented lots.
If the system worked, everything would be fine. Architects wouldn't gather materials. They would just buy their materials and either sell their products or, more perfectly, wholesale them out to Merchants. Unfortunately, with materials selling for more than our finished products, the system doesn't work.
I have a friend who is strictly a combat character. He has placed my factory on his lots. This week, he is going to place a large house on his lots for me. I'll maintain a small house as a store (maybe) allowing me at least 8 lots for harvestors/energy.
I like your idea on the benefit to the construction branch that as we get better the lot cost would be lower. With that and a few more lots I for one would be happier and feel more in line with the other classes.![]()
And with regard to the post you just saw on running 3 small houses for less credits and get twice the storage space as a large house....I agree would it not be better if the devs made some other types of buildings for storage or for that matter med centers and cantinas would be cool to bulid as well.
