Net result = ~84,000 resources and conutless days mining resources to get 1 fusion reactor.
I had numerous other crits over the weekend and even my experimentation results were getting crits 1 out of ever 3 tries (normally I RARELY crit on experimenting).
This is not just Arch related either. Since I'm a master artisian (a human one at that with +10 assembly/experimentation) I was criting on 1 in 4-5 control units, EGP's, Power conditioners, and Micro sensor suites.
I don't know what was going on this weekend but it was to the point where people were asking me to build stuff and I just had to say no because it was costing me more in resources than I could sell the finished product for.
It's just terrible :/
oh yeah I'll sign.
The crits on the component parts are no problem, but on a full house!
Maybe you make it so that you only lose a fraction of the components (like a few structural components or so), not all of them.

I saw a thread a week or 2 ago where someone was looking at the relation between lag and crit failures. There was lot's of lag for me this weekend when it is not usually noticeable to me. Personally, I think it's just a money sink created by evil developers and they won't do a thing about it until the number of architects is where they want it to be. Gotta love player a run developer controlled economy.

You do know Scortch that the everytime that exploit gets mentioned on the board, one more dev getsa step closer to patching it. It's an exploit, and although we dodeserve to have some escapegoat to save 50-60k in resources on a single click, it's still considered illegal to use, and the more people that use it, the faster it gets fixed.
If a new architect wants to find out, let him search back in the archives, but stop bringing the exploit out into the light.
Scortch - Oops. I only read the 4 /craftcommands you saidand assumed you where talking about what you do after you've crit failed.
You where talking about manually crafting using /command, my bad, sorry. Btw, you can still crit fail using the /commands, it just does not tell you.

You can bypass Critical Failures but only if your are crafting an item where upon failure the resources get stuck in the tool.
when you go to assemble the resources and get a critical failure and the resources are stuck in the tool just type /nextcraftingstage 3 times then type /createprototype ...... you'll see the counter appear in the tool and then youll get the item as normal ...... I had crit failed a medium naboo house the other day but the resources were stuck so i was able to bypass the crit and complete the item.
The devs don't feel like fixing our crafting/experimentation problems then I have no problem using this till they do.
