Architect Archive
Thread: Devs do not seem to know there is a bug making wall in a factory from crates!!!!!!
This has got to be the most cumbersome thing for a Architect now. I mean I have to manually take out 100 structual modules out of the crate. Then manually put them in the ingredient hopper. That is like 20 mins just to start a factory run. Then i get to do it all over again.
Nutz!
I'm sure they are aware of it. But, just keep in mind that they have bigger fish to fry right now. Like they just got DE's fixed. Imagine being an Arch and not being able to do any final combines. Imagine being a chef and not being able to sell ANYTHING because the buffs your food gives cause permanent damage to stats (and this problem still exists). And those are just to name a couple of them.
I'm sure they will eventually get to it, and trust me..I KNOW it's a pain to do. Just give 'em time. They have much more pressing issues at the moment.

The devs have made aware of this issue. I don't have a timeframe but I did bring it up, but they are doing it.
Is the default action from a double-click now "split"? While a split function is very nice, it takes me twice as long to click-hold, then hit "get item". If someone has found a work around, please share.
If not, is it possible to ask the devs to change the default action back to "get item" from the crate instead of "split"?

Yep, just another indication the Devs do not give a rat's **edit** about Architects...assuming that they even remember that our Profession exists.
Split into another **edit** crate? WTH are they even thinking?
Yeah, splitting to a crate makes no sense at all.
BTW - I still make buidings, with double clicking on module stacks popping them into the wall that works just fine to make walls by hand.
That you sir for answering my question. As long as they are aware of it. Then that is all that is needed to be said on this thread. At least from me.....
Thanks Again,
