I would appreciate getting these schematics, too.

Perhaps it doesnt need to be a new schematic, just an option to change the "skin" so to speak. Just like a fountain, how you have the option to change the different types once its crafted.

Yeah, that'd work, but knowing the devs they'd likely just introduce a quest for a two-use schematic for these plants instead.

Has there ever been a statement as to why the different types of plants are unavailable to crafters?
Sorry if Im beating what has more than likely become a dead and thuroughly mutilated horse, but what gives?
There are allready various types of plants modeled, why are they not available to craft? it makes very little sence to me, and seems like such a piddley little change in the code. Walk around and notice the different types of plants sometime. There are at least 3 other types of each plant family in the game in various places, and in abundance. If the graphic is modeled, why not apply it to the code? Heaven forbid someone interested in interior design might want to have some variety!
What does it take to get a small and no doubt simple change pushed forward for the benefit of a profession round here?
I know color is a huge issue too, but this just seems rediculously easy to obtain given the fact the items are ALLREADY MODELED.
I enjoy offering services for int. design, and would enjoy it even more if there were just a hair more options for decor.

No, I don't think they've said anything much about adding new furniture.
I"m afraid new schematics for architects ispretty low in the list of priorities nowadays.

I would understand more if the items werent allready in the game. But anywhere you look you see the other types of plants, and furniture for that matter. It doesnt make sence to me that the items are in the game, but unavailable. Then again, being a weapon smith as well, I guess I could combat that line of reasoning with two words...
...beserker rifle.

... especially when you consider that not only do tailors have innumerable options for the colours of their products when they craft them, but armoursmiths can make composite amrour that will actually change colour in game, depending on the choice of the wearer. Makes for a neat effect as you cange your armour colour to blend in with your particular surroundings (or stand out!), but clearly the functionality is not only possible, it's proven.
The fact that a couch has to be the same colour in any galaxy in the universe is just plain silly.

There reall isn't too much furniture that an architect can't build that is in game. The stuff we can't build is by in large faction stuff. The plants on the other hand clearly do exist in game in abundance and we don't have access to them. I would not even be opposed to them including the new plant skins via a schematic system like the paintings /shrug something new anyway. Someone said it before in this thread though. I don't think it reads as priority right now

If you go into I believe the Bestine Musseum, you can select the plants, and they say "Small Potted Plant, Style 4" and so forth. So YEAH give us the schematics already!

Oh they will give it to us, and when they do it'll be a big deal. Everyone will be all excited and hardly any new coding will have been added. The skins are in the game and they made it that way so that they would have new content to add later with little effort.

In the real world I have always had a green thumb. I am sick of the 3 boring plants we are stuck with too. I would love to have large potted palms , ferns , & a variety of potted blooming plants to use in this game. I hope the devs some day add more to craft !

This isnt by far the most important issue for Architect, considering the discussion is being had, but it would be a huge benifit to the playability at very little expense of time.
If the Devs want to help this class out, make an easy change at least and open these other designs up as options. There are at least 9 other designs of plants in game that are not available, and I venture to bet there are more I havent even taken notice to yet, probably because they are underused graphics due to being limited only in preset design schemes.
This profession is held down by so many different factors its just unreal.

Do you actually go into any buildings in NPC cities such as hotels and guild halls?
I have counted AT LEAST 4 different couches, 4 different chairs, 5 different tables, 7 different plants, not to mention the multitude of various rugs, paintings, lamps and statury that not only can't be crafted, but is totally unavailable to players as a whole.
If just half of the items already modeled and colorization were introduced, furniture construction could be its own profession.
