Thread: Just An Idea that helps 2 or more classes.
SURVEY DROIDS!!
Just think A droid that can go out and survey an area. The droid I am think would be like a seeker droid and would have 2 modes of operation.
Mode 1.) Specific Resource - You Tell it a sepecific resource and it will start tracking it to its highest concentraction point. First the resource would have to be in the area you start it in, otherwise it would just tell you the resource was not found. Built by Droid Engineers, given the skill of the DE for range of scan and AI to make decision on how to track it.
Mode 2.) General Resource - You bring it to an area, and in a set time frame it will give you a map with all the resource % for that area. Built by Droid Engineers, given the skill of the DE for range, types of resources, and length of time it will search.
These droids would help the DE class by giving them something to sell. Architect, Artisian, and anyone else that mines for resources would love them.

I like this idea.
Good for DEs, and unbelievable for the crafter classes not based off Artisan (Doc, BE).
bad idea. it will be that much harder for those with less money, less time, etc. to be able to capitalize on a good resource find because everyone will be able to find the primo spots. I say leave it to those who are willing to work at finding the good spots.
I like the idea.
A player will find these resource spots sooner or later anyway...
