Thread: Orske's Current Best Resources for Architects
I have a tool I use for shipwrights, that I've recently made some architect data for, which I think is complete, but am unsure as I'm not a architect. So check THIS LINK out.
let me know if you have questions!

Orske's Current Best Resources
As I came up with the data myself, some from SWGCraft, some from other areas, so it may be out of date, just point me in the right direction.
I also have Armorsmith, Chef, Weaponsmith, and a limited Artisan data set available for use.
So you know, it takes the current set of resources from SWGCraft for your server, compares them to your chosen crafting professions' schematics required resources and stats, and computes the current 'best' resource for you to use (hence the obvious name, heh).
The tool takes gates and caps into effect, so results will reflect how good the resource actually is regardless of stats displayed (like, conductivity on plumbum iron for weaponsmiths is very low, but compared to it's gate, it's not bad sometimes).
Also, I apologize for the size of the 'deeds' and 'furniture' menu, but it's not my fault there's so many types of deeds and furniture heh. I'll probably be looking into re-organizing it a bit to make it smaller. Just take a look, let me know if you find it worthwhile, I hope so. Have fun!
Take another look if you have before, and if you haven't, well, check it out
Nice site.
The quality of materials doesn't matter at all for furniture, houses, city structures and factories so you could just leave those out. Except lamps and candles resources have mattered, but I'm not sure the state of decay on those now.

I know it doesn't (did architect for the old-school-holo grind back in the day), but I thought I'd leave them in for now, anyway. I moved up the sections in the menu that do require stats, like the candles and harvesters/components, but left it all there 'just in case' in the future it changes.
Thanks though

I think it looks great and will be bookmarking it for future use.Did notice one thing, is there something wrong with Component - Harvester:Extraction Rate: Ore Mining Unit ? It shows no data.Edit: LOL @re Mining Unit!

Component - Harvester:Extraction Rate: Ore Mining Unit
Fixed.
Fixed a couple other small errors also (translation between qualities and resources was causing error...basically....typos
Looks like you're using the current SWGcraft data, is that right?
One nice to have feature if you could do it is to have some sort of quick search to show steel or metal with HR, SR, UT > 981 average. Thats the key golden number stat we need now for the BER14 harvs.
And do you have any historical resource data? Would be nice to be able to pull up a list of the best steels on a server for harvesters or maybe the highest OQ and OQ/Cond stuff for stations.

Well, you can set a threshold when generating the results, to not display results below that 981 'modified' value (same as average in your case if HR, SR, and UT are what's being taken under consideration here), and it should work that way (though it still displays the entire tree structure and best results if not over threshold). Though, adding a quick search for metals above those limits would be quite easy. *Any* metal, non-ferrous, ferrous, steel, etc?
As for historical data, I wish. SWGCraft does not allow download of historical data, and I've emailed Trokk there to see if I can get a dump of the DB, but no reply. Sorry! Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths have been wanting this too

Ok. yeah if a quicksearch for 25% HR, 25% SR, 50% UT >981 is doable then yes any metal would work. THough were probalbly only going to get steel or iron at that level.
I'll look into it as I can. It *should* be easy....
I just had a trigger system instead where it emails you if a condition of variables is met. You can set them up in any array that can be denoted in simple conditionals.
