I think it'd be fairly good, but do you think stims and ruby bliel will be enough for healing?

How much medic is usually needed to get good enough healing?

Even medic 0010 is a huge help, more so than you'd think. This is especially true if you kite and don't take may hits. Also, medic 0220 gives a bunch of heals, and if you have bio'd clothing and the new gloves from Mustafar (+10 healing eff/+10 buff eff), you get some nice heals for having only 0220.

With a teplate like that, you're geared towards group combat, and have no need for medic at all, if we're talking PvP.
In PvE you can do pretty much everything (except super highlevel boss marks), relying on stims alone. If you kite, root, snare and mezz your target, you can take out level 80 lairs on your own. I have the same template with commando instead of bounty hunter (for that AoE concussion and flamethrowers
), and I have no problems getting along without healing skills. Sometimes I don't even bother using ruby bliels.
Everybody says that you can't have a good template without healing. I say, learn to use you specials and you'll be fine with stims. This is even more true for smugglers, as we have concussion and panic shot, that can effectively keep an enemy mezzed, and buy us the time to pop a stim. It takes a little more time to get the job done, but in the end, you'll get out of a fight with fewer scratches than most other proffesions.
I'd say, go for this template. Screw the healing. Get some nice stims (1200 power ones), some Pixie, a nice FWG5 or a Renegade, and get out there and learn your template. It is a challenge to begin with, but once you've learned it, you will be a force to be reconed with in PvP as well as PvE.

You will like the template right up until you areballs deep in rebels, and wish you could heal up.
Not to mention the fact that training CM would give you a serious boon to not just your solo play, butto groups as well.
Then again the kd/confuse obviously fills out the one other powerful form of CC that this template comes up lacking.
