As the title says, Smuggler armour classification should be innate, not recon.

Wes can you PLEASE try and get it through to the developers that it is NOT "smuggler-esq" running around in ugly recon armour. A smuggler can only smuggle when blended into the environment ... that typicaly means wearing the type of clothes the locals are wearing. strolling around with a big ugly ubese helmet is NOT gonna aid us in this.

Smugglers are most likely to be attacked while hanging in a cantina. We therefore would not have time to whip into our armour to protect ourselves.

Innate armour represents a smuggler's ability to avoid being hurt without the NEED for armour or firepower.

I can't stress this enough, Smugglers should NOT be stuck with recon armour yet again.

Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. Smugglers rely more on luck than armor.

Of course, since it makes so much sense, it'll never happen.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Nobody wore armor... Armor is dumb... dumb armor... dumb dumb dumb....

The only people that wore armor are Boba Fett and troopers.... Maybe that's why they had such poor aim...

I'd say give us some kind of dodge skills instead of innate armor, as this would be more towards luck. The more dodge you have, the more change to avoid some or all damage directed at you.

Yeah, we get dodge skills, dip skills, and dive skills to avoid damage. But the more drink skills we have, the more we damage we take

yeah, make it innate, I won't mind, and neither will the suiti have with a load of+25 ranged mods in it.

/sigh.

In my opinion, its time to make armour certs go byebye. make cores generic (and allow the AS to decide the kin/energy balance, among other things) and let you use anyof the previous armour stylesas a skin.

should smuggler have innate? It would be a nice OPTION, but dont give up the ability to use armour. Don't let a blind devotion to canon screw you out of balance. I know what I'm talking about, I'm a wookiee.

edit - maybe the could revamp sheild generators to attach to specific body parts with the same qualties as armour. Its an idea

Its not about cannon Mentski, its about the fact that they always dump the worst crappiest armour on smugglers and I'm sick of being forced to wear Ubese armour.

My template was BH/Smuggler/Pistoleer and I swapped it to TK/Smuggler/Pistoleer so I wouldn't have to wear crappy ubese anymore and now find out, yet again, we've been stuck to wearing crappy ubese.

I personaly think its completly stupid that you basicaly HAVE to wear armour to do anything in this game especialy when they have limited the choices so drasticaly. All the decent armour is Battle except for the Imperial Scout.. the one good armour in recon.

People are calling for each profression to have two amour certs. If we are to suffer with recon then fine, but give us innate as a secondary.

That,I wouldnt have a problem with either, its all about choice in the end if the day, in one way, sure, I'd fricken love innate armour, but I also realise that means I have even LESS thingsI can put attachments into... get what i'm driving at? Don't cripple yourself, and don't cripple others just because of the hatred of a graphic on screen dude.

That is of course IF attachments even mean anything after this, but still.
