Thread: Tiggs is gone... I think we deserve to know if she left on good terms.

Fired for what? Gross overcompetence compared to the rest of the SOE "Staff"?
sure you do, It's called scapegoating...
And who needs community relations when your game will be on only consoles soon....just look at the direction and read between the lines

this is sad...
I'm not in the know in terms of who's-who... such as who has connections with the staff at SOE, etc.
I knew a DJ at a radio station around where I live that was a great guy, but would occassionaly rip into the listeners. This became common for him suddenly, so he was "fired" by the station. In reality, they enjoyed his work as a DJ, so he just got a new name. Same guy, new name.
Since Tiggs has had an insane amount of anger and everything thrown her way, does anyone else think that it's possible that SOE did the same thing? They "fired" Tiggs because her name became held in a negative context, so the person "replacing" Tiggs would really just be her with a new name?
Flame it if you want, but it's just a theory.
2) She's gone, it's over with. We need to move on. This isn't Tiggs first MMO...she'll survive.

I'd say that LA dropped alot of this on SWG, Tiggs was colateral damage. I am assuming Julio Torres has someone lined up for the position that has been adequately indoctrinated to both SWG as a whole (played for the last month and trolled the forums) and the new Lucas Arts approach to making money . . . err making an MMO.
As for Lucas himself, he has probaly been told by an advisor that the 25-50 year old crowd have already spent thier money on Star Wars and their is a younger, stronger apprentice, opps! I mean customer-base to pilpher!
One of the greatest fictional icons, no the greatest fictional icon of the century (Jedi) have been reduced to a cheesy kung-fu character with technology.
Hey, Lucas et al, you made people believe . . .
