I'm certainly not one to jump on bandwagons (can't be bothered to dig up proof of that right now). Like my links indicate, my frustration arose from the cold silenceafforded to me and the hundred other grieving players by the so-called "community representative." I'm not going to blame some unknown supervisor because the person supposedly representing us is completely ignoring us.

Granted the details of Tiggs departure are unknown; she may have even left doing something honorable like standing up for the players against greedy SOE (in which case I owe her an apology) but given her track record I'm not inclined to go with that theory. I'm honestly relieved to see TH picking up the slack now because his SWG history goes all the way back to beta and from what I know about him he actually has a passion for the game (or did at one time, lol).

Peer pressure has just worked against ya. Peeps who support ya are gonna be seen as mosters alongside ya. "How can youplay thatNGE whenSOE fire women with kids?" Playin' this game has now become a moral crime ta some. You can't generate hype with that, Brenlo. Don't matter who you are.

The mythic aura of reverence is gone from the red names. We don't see ya as gods no more, but men, I reckon, and bad men at that.

Never state that ya fired a single woman with kids unless ya'll are goin' bankrupt. Cause if ya ain't goin' bankrupt man, then ya'll look like you be morally bankrupt. At that point man, ya lost yer ability ta sell ta human beings (or rodians too ).

Darn skippy!

The last Stratics HOC chat I vivdly remember Tiggs staying in the #starwars channel WELL after it was over answering our questions to the best of her ability on her own time, all whilst many players were ripping her to shreds left and right.

A thankless job, and one she didn't have to do.

True she had her moments where she could have used more tact and understanding, but I'm not sure anyone would have managed to do better under those circumstances.

Tell Tiggs that she may be a great human being... I'm sure she is, and a great mother too, but customer relations sure ain't her line of work... She probably has a bright future in gaming, but she certainly was not in the right position here. This is all for the best, for you, SOE and the rest of us. Best of luck, but life goes on.
