I hear what you're saying but at this point there are no consequences, and the "man" doesn't pay atention to us one way or another. Once there is some sort of immersion on that front, I'll gladly rip down my tag & keep my criminal acts on the down low.

I used to put up the master smuggler tag, but tell hell got to be a bit much.

i see post on my galaxies forums all the time looking for smugglers. most of em stay empty just with the poster bumbing em once in a while.so many of us just cantendure the abuse much longer. my account dies very soon and i doubt i will ever return even if a smuggler revamp does get annouced. not that there's much of a chance of that ever happening with the devs we have for this game.

on the bright side ddo might come out soon.

I've been a Smuggler for two years now, and after constantly seeing our profession get neglected, I sometimes seriously consider dropping it. But I can't. Smugglers may not get much attention, we may not be able to do a damn thing in PvP (Except mez people, which combat medics can do as well as heal and apply DoTs) and our most powerful attack may drain us of ALL of our H/A/M Bars, and Slicing might not give nearly as great a boost as it used to, and spices might just be watered down chef foods that make you vomit, and the underworld tree might be completely and utterly useless except for languages and selling faction (Provided you grind your way up to "President of the universe" just to get a decent conversion rate), and we might not have any content, and our combat bonuses might be negligible, and we might only be allowed to wear the lightest armor in the game, and we might not even get any Melee Combat Specials, and we might use the same amount of points to master as Bounty Hunter, but I'll tell ya, I love being a Smuggler.

You mean I will finally have REAL competition in the smuggler arena? I don't know if I am more happy about this or anxious. Either way, look me up when you get to Eclipse.

As for the topic at hand, I have never worn my title. I find by the time I am done loading in, no matter where I am, there is already a lineup of people wanting slices, tells about the same. Besides, as a real smuggler would you walk around with the tag that says master smuggler? It's like just wearing a sign for the cops to look at you.

I agree with you, i have dropped Smuggler twice now and have always came back to it (after dropping it for BH and dropping both my profs to do melee), i just love being a smuggler. I wish the Devs would get round to a revamp though, but nvm i love smuggler as it is and the Devs gotta a lot on their plate but oh well.

Pfft. I was the second master on our server, and never changed profs. I bet you 10 mil creds if you polled Eclipse asking who is the first smuggler you think of, I will get more votes than you

But I'm out there, doing my donations to the Empire, modifying equipment for the loyal troopersand doing my part to make sure that the skills we have are put to the use of good.
