They WILL NOT grant you ANY item that you did not do the quest for.
Whether its Level 1 item or level 80 item... this is working as intendid.
I think its to "encorage" people to drop to CL 1 and grind the proff again.

But the system is not set up that way.
Once you pick a profession, you can't change it.
In order to get all the rewards, you would have to have an existing character and drop to zero skills before the NGE goes live.
Your respec 'token' has your CL marked in it somehow, or that's what I've read anyway.
I believe it actually says what the CL is in the description, along with how many respecs are left.
Though I wouldn't put it past SOE to think that lots of people are going to drop all their skills just to regrind (and be happy about it, too) all 9 professions.
Actually it would be all 9 professions plus the one you want to go back to, so 10 total.
I guess it probably is better than doing all 32, but it's still not my idea of fun.
No, there is another way. You can keep your character respecs set to level 80 and use an ADK to set yourself to level 1. that way you dont lose the cl 80 respec

And this is what SOE WANTS us to do...
How long will it take you at CL 80 without the items you need to be successful to use your respec token?
For SOE it kills 2 birds with ONE stone.. the VERY troublesome ADK issue and having a player base that is so FAR greater than new fresh incoming recruits for the consoles.

Actually the worst news I heard from Corbantis is that pvp with the new combat system is terrible due to bad collision physics and that combat in dungeons with a group is nearly impossible since people infront of you block you from your target. This game is done for.
