I logged in from june - first week of october over a satellite connection in Afghanistan. Wasn't great and I definately couldn't go to Dantooine... but it served its purpose at the time.

im a truck driver and after leaving the game almost 8 months ago due to my traveling, i finally got a laptop and can now play from anywhere on the road across the country through the wi-fi networks most truck stops and hotels now offer. the combat balance is taking some getting used to but i still enjoy the game that i began playing in summer of 2003.

I log in everyday from,
NCTS EURCENT. I am in the Navy, andI live in the barracks in Naples, Italy. Capodichino, Italy to be precise. I am from North Carolina, and I havent been home in over a year now, and I miss my road runner cable internet. The lag in europe sucks Ba11z. The days of 40-60 ping are gone, but Ill be back to the good ole' US of A in a couple years.

I often log in from work.
Might sound easy, but we are not allowed to install software here, so I have to log in via VNC applet to my server at home, from there via VNC to my computer and then in SWG.
Can't call it "playing" because of the lag (0.3 FPS
), but it is still nice to chat and you can some slowly crafting.
Aslo thought I might be able to do the same via my mobile, but seems like I have to wait for a PDA

Due to imposed work/time restraints, I have only a few hours each night that I can get my work done(4hrs).......so before and after that time, and although I am on the clock, my time is my own. I have quite the backback filled with laptop accesories and power supply. Depending where it is I'm working each night, I drive around in my work truck until I can find a hotspot good enough for me to log in, do so and enjoy being paid to play my fav game in the whole world! Wh00t!

I started plying SWG when i was in the comforts of my own home, but now that that freedom cannot be afforded anymore i am happy to say that this week i am in Athens, GA with my job. I have logged in all over the country Virgina, West Virgina, Michigan, Ohio, Maine, Florida, New Jersey, Tenn, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, And Raleigh NC, where i now call home. I guess you could say that i am a little addicted but when i get time i will log in, and now i have a whole other reason to log in... to beat others in how many states i can play swg in.

"We are looking for players that log in to play Star Wars Galaxies from real world locations out of the norm (aircraft carriers, submarines, cruise lines, hot air balloons, ect). Tell us your story of where you log in to play Star Wars Galaxies from! (Serious posts only!) "
I log in from the real world. A place which SOE employees have no connection with.
