BTW, I'm not sorry to see her go. For someone who is the Community Relations person, she had some serious issues with tact and whatnot. She's not the only one deserving of a sacking for those faults. I say, don't let the door hit her on the way out.
That being said, TH was no better a choice and both where the whipping boy for SOE's floundering. They took all the heat for the mistakes the devs on this game seem determined to make. Julio Torres will like you to believe that all the feedback on the NGE is positive and I'm sure if there were no NDA, Tiggs could probably tell you ithas not been. If I were in her position, I think I'd rather not come into work after the 14th of this month. She avoided that firestorm of hate.

How does a company screw up Star Wars? I mean seriously...for real.... This game should be killing World of Warcraft if it had people behind it that knew what they were doing.

Not watching the movies will do that to you. It is very clear that they do not know the source material very well and try to argue their ways around it many times. The first batch of Devs may have had an intimate knowledge of Star Wars but these guys....clueless boobs.
Thank you for everything you have done for us, the community of SWG. I know that I personally have contributed to some of the disorder on the forums at times, and for that I apologize. I have always appreciated having the information that you supplied, the knowledge that our issues had been passed on, and the off-hours support, comraderie, and tireless dedication you provided.
Nobody deserves to be the bearer of bad news as consistently as you have been in this position, and I am personally grateful to have had your help here in forumland.

When senior management staff are sacked, they usually get rid of them that day or very shortly afterwards so they cant influence anything in the organisation.
She may not have known until the day she was sacked.
Big business pulls no punches and can be cold and ruthless..
it was meant to be a joke in relation to how they announced the NGE right after ToOw went live.
I know how businesses work.

Not really. If they delete it, people will say "OMG it must be truebecause they deleted it to cover it up."
If they don't delete it, people will say "See, they're afraid to delete it because they don't want to look like they're covering it up."
So now, at SOE they're faced with a choice.
1) IF it's true, do they delete it and give verification to the first group?
2) IF it's true, do they leave it up and give verification to the second group?
3) If it's false, do they delete it and give verification to the first group?
4) If it's false, do they leave it up and give verification to the second group?
No matter which way they go, one group of people or another is going to point at it and say "OMG, SEE? That PROVES it!"
