I'm going with Fired. We can see she posted this morning, so I can't see why she'd bother if she was about to quit.


From reading her posts over the years, you'll know she often posted from home, after just waking up. My guess is she woke up this morning, logged in, got some posting done before heading to the office, and got there to find out she was fired.


Now, I'm curious, why?


Pure speculation, but admitting on these forums a few days ago that she played WOW might not have gone over so well.


There was also the fact that she could be less then diplomatic at times. I for one never saw her be that way to anyone who didn't deserve it (the "rolls eyes" post from a few days ago comes to mind), but others might disagree.

Knock it off! They should not tell you why/if she was fired. Same as someone you work with, the boss shouldn't come out and tell everyone what led to a dismissal.

I don't believe legally they can say why she was fired unless they want to get the pants sued off of them. It's just like if someone calls an employer for a referral technically all they can do is confirm employement.

My guess is she quit. They put the NGE on Testcenter on a friggin' Friday and then left her with the mess all weekend. She barely got any sleep at all, and has been under a tremendous amount of stress this past week, not to mention lots of complete noobs (by that, I mean people who are just flat rude to her and are so stupid that they think it's HER fault) yelling and screaming at her. Frankly, I wouldn't blame her a bit for quitting.

As I recall, she said she was in the WOW beta and didn't like it. So she wasn't exactly talking it up or anything. She said she plays other MMORPGs but for all we know, those could be other SOE games. Is there maybe some kind of legal issue with a developer being in the beta for a competing game?

SHE WAS LAID OFF!


it is a common practice in american business to cut costs this way. there was redundant customer relations people: tiggs, thunderheart, and that SOE director guy. why have 3 customer relations people when 2 can do the job equally? subscribers to the game is down and cashflow is tight because of it. it was either TH or tiggs to go. they chose tiggs because she had the least amount of seniority and experience in the game.


frankly, it is all of YOUR fault why she got laid off. all your whining and false posturing by cancelling your accounts with no real intent to have them cancelled just so you can make a statement of your dislike of the CU2, they had to do this. YOU all who cancelled but intend to uncancel in a month are what got her laid off. tiggs was a REAL person with a REAL life to support and all you people are so greedy that you pretend to cancel your accounts over your silly play online money, and online assets.


YOU people who cancelled withevery intention to re-sub when your current subscription expiredshould be ashamed of yourselves.

Honestly I think she was just a scapegoat.


1)SOE saw that this game is going to **edit**, due to their own idiotic actions.


2)The same noobs that Kaorset described constantly believed it was her fault and that she was to blame

(why?.. because she was the only one at SOE who ever showed any form of interest in the actual Community. How many other red names have any form of discernable personality, or a post count that takes more than your hands/toes to number?)


Therefore - SOE canned her in an attempt to look like "Hey look guys, we're on your side. We got rid of the evil woman that was behind breaking the game.. oh by the way we're still implementing it though"


But now all the little n00b jerkoffs will be happy because Tiggs is no longer here



Too bad the NGE is here to stay.. till the next time SOE decides to "Upgrade" the game futher
